I have been coming here going on a year and I have had an wonderful & excellent experience with Dr . Hodges she is wonderful She is attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing and helping find the solution to my issue. I felt genuinely cared for and confident in the treatment plan, which is making a difference so far.
Unfortunately, the experience I just had with the lady on the phone from the 2nd floor front desk was not as positive. I could not remember the name of the nice friendly guy that usually helps me at the front desk She then had an attitude and came across as dismissive and unwelcoming which was disappointing and set a negative vibe totally different than the service I usually receive.
That said, the quality of care I received from Dr. Hodges was outstanding, and I truly appreciate their professionalism and compassion. I hope the front desk experience can be improved to better reflect the high standard of care provided by the medical staff.
I was a little concerned when I first read the reviews online and I was called to book an appointment but my experience was quite pleasant. My eye exam was done thoroughly by the assistant and Dr. Dollen. I didn't have to wait too long and everything went smoothly, everyone was kind and sweet.
I would say, when I was called in mid-Oct, the earliest appointment was in Nov-end in Durham location. The Cary location was more convenient for me but there weren't appointments available that could fit my schedule so that was a problem but overall, the in person experience was quite good.
This is a group of top shelf physicians in the fields of Ear, Eye, Nose, and Throat. There's also an audiology department, with an audiologist on site. I've been coming here for
almost 15 years, and I've seen a doctor in each specialty. The docs are AWESOME! The optometry shop is nice, and they have ALL price ranges!
Dr. Perry and the entire NCEENT staff are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Dr.Perry and staff for your eye health care. My recent cataract surgery by Dr. Perry was incredible. I was in and out in no time. Dr. Perry I am very grateful for you and all your care.
Thank you
Larry
Had lasik surgery with Dr Perry about 20 years ago. Since my eyes were very nearsighted at -6.75, I needed a second "touch up" procedure to get me to vision glasses free vision.
It's been so great not having to wear coke bottle glasses and being able to swim and see at the same time.
I recall getting good care from their team. My eyes are still in good health. At 60, I do need reading glasses and computer glasses. But I'm glad I did it and enjoyed mostly glasses free life for many years. If you are thinking of lasik, get it as a young adult, so you have time to enjoy it before the reading glasses age hits!
Dr. Alexander Barsham and staff are the best. They all truly care about their patients. Starting with the receptionist and all the staff that I see, everyone cares. Dr. Barsham and staff are the best.
Wait time was over an hour. Arrived at 8:30 for check in like I was told for a 8:45 appointment didn't see anyone to start any test until about 10am and finally saw the Dr about 10:45. The staff and Dr.Simon were nice and apologetic for the wait time. 3 stars reflects the long wait time but the Dr and his staff were good.
I got a call this morning from them requesting my insurance information for my appointment this Friday (in 4 days). I assured her I would do this right away when I got back home. Minutes later I got a notice my appointment has been changed to December 6th! I'm beyond angry. My vision just keeps getting worse and all I needed was a vision test so I can get glasses on contacts. Now I have to start all over! Meanwhile I have to function without being able to see too great. Usually Duke doesn't do me wrong but this is not ok!!!!!! I know this facility didn't used to be Duke owned but this experience has put a very bad taste in my mouth.
