Dr Newman and all his staff are wonderful. They make sure check in and check out goes smoothly. April makes sure your glasses fit properly before sending you off!!

Dr. Newman is such a gem! My entire family has been going to him for 20+ years. He is very knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Newman and his staff are always courteous and helpful. I would recommend his practice to anyone looking for a great optometrist!

Best eye exam appointment ever! I was seen on time & was surprised that Dr. Newman himself did all of the diagnostics for my eyes, versus a technician - which is what I was used to having just relocated from CA. Dr. Newman was very patient & explained everything, every step of the way, in language I could understand. The receptionist was great too! Although they were booked into Nov., she was kind enough to call me when they had a cancellation & I was able to see the doctor just three days after I called. All in all, a great experience all around!

I've been going to Optix Eyecare and seeing Dr. Newman now for roughly 10 years. It's always a great experience. He's very thorough and professional and appears to be using the latest in technology. When I was trying out contacts several years ago, he gave me a couple of different pair to try just to see if they worked for me (including bifocal contacts). The front office staff are friendly and helpful as well. And April, who handles everything related to the ordering of frames and lenses (including addressing any issues) is really easy to work with. She has a very broad knowledge of lenses and lens manufacturers, which comes in handy when trying to make a decision on the different treatments that are available for lenses (e.g. anti-glare coating, transition lenses, etc.) She's also very knowledgeable about insurance plans. They take VSP if you're lucky enough to have that insurance plan. You can't go wrong having your eyes taken care of by Dr. Newman and his staff.

Amazing customer service. Recently had my frames adjusted by Tammy, who was patient, kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Wearing glasses isn't fun to me, but the recent "fitting" for my frames makes it more enjoyable. No more sliding down my nose! All other staff is super helpful. I always receive appointments that work for my schedule. Doctor Newman is throrough and gentle. I feel secure in their care.

Amazing service! It only took a week to walk in, order new lenses and have April replace them inside my original frames. No pressure from the unbelievably friendly staff. I recommend everyone go here for glasses needs and they have a wide selection of frames to choose from if that's what you are looking for as well. Again - April was so kind and caring towards my needs!

An excellent experience!!! I highly recommend Dr. Newman and his staff to anyone in need of basic eyesore. His office was comfortable and conveniently located. His staff was friendly and courteous and he took great efforts to run on time. Plus, his eyewear selection was very good. I have gotten both glasses and contacts from his office and will continue to do so in the future.

Recently, I was fortunate to obtain Vision Insurance. I did not want to return to the provider I had been seeing. So, I found Optix through my insurance carrier and scheduled a new patient appointment. From that first call and all through my visit, Dr. Newman and his staff were amazing. I appreciated how they took their time not only with me but other patients. They treated everyone with dignity and respect. I believe I will be a long time patient at Optix.
