Dr Kim performed PRK vision correction on me in 2019. The procedure is an alternative to LASIK, which i was not a candidate for since my corneas are thin. Dr Kim advised that 20/20 vision would take some time to achieve as the recovery is slower than LASIK. I think it took around a month and a half before i could see clearly. I understand some patients take up to six months to see the end result. Despite lengthy wait times at their office, Dr Kim took his time explaining my best option and ultimately it was the right decision. Very pleased with my outcome and beyond grateful to Dr Kim for his precision and care.

Finally getting around to posting. I would recommend him highly. IMO, the best ophthalmologist in the region.

Dr.Kim and his team ( admin/clinical) are nothing short of a 5* team, from the moment you enter his office until you check out, also when you call his office with any concern they either address it with ne or forward to appropriate staff member who promptly returns my call. Dr Kim performed my L DIMEK, 10/16, when I was informed by my local cornea specialist a few weeks ago that I needed to have a transplant in my opposite eye, I immediately called his office for an appt. Rebecca/Donzell/Jennifer who took care of me at my last visit a few weeks ago, were absolutely amazing, keep up the good work, God bless you all, Kelly Elson

Dr Kim has performed over 6 surgeries on my eyes in the last 5-6 years. I would potentially be blind if not for his up to date medical knowledge, skill and expertise in his field. He is a kind and caring physician and I have the utmost respect for him. I am thankful for my eyesight, a lot of which is due to finding him. William Seddinger.

Dr Kim did my lasik surgery in 2014 with no initial complications. By 2016, my vision had degraded to the point whe I couldn't drive (I was 28 years old). After visiting another ophthalmologist, I was diagnosed with post-nasik ectasia, a condition brought on by the lasik procedure. This lead to a bulging cornea in both my eyes, affecting both near and distance vision. I needed another $5K procedure to (hopefully) stop the degenerative condition. The pre-surgery screening that was done is supposed to help avoid this type of condition. Glasses and soft contacts don't correct the vision with this condition, so I need to wear expensive/uncomfortable hard contacts the rest of my life. I can't recommend Dr. Kim based on my experience

Dr. Kim is one of the most brilliant, kind, compassionate and gifted surgeons and ophthalmologists I know. While things can go wrong post-treatment for anyone, that is far less likely to occur when you are cared for by Dr. Terry Kim.
