David Coward

He has been caring for my family for many years. I can't see going anywhere else. He is very knowledgeable and personable and friendly with the whole family each visit. I feel he cares about his clients well being not just out eyes. This is what keeps us coming back.

I would recommend Dr. Coward because he is very skilled and proactive in complex cases with his his excellent treatment, curiosity, and "can do" positive attitude. As a current patient, he quickly addresses and follows through when an issue arises in an urgent situation. He really does care for his patients as others have told me they have been coming for many years.

He is not professional at all. I wouldn't bring my family here if I were you. Dr Coward is definitely not your best eye doctor in town. My best friend left there with a bottle of Clear care that wasn't explained to her that the lenses must soak until the hydrogen peroxide turns to saline. She put it directly in her eye. He should be grateful no charges were placed.

I had an excellent experience, I received the service that I have been looking for... as in I am about to relocate to Oxford from living in Durham--I needed an office that cared about "ME" and not always about the money$$$.. My doctor--Dr. Coward was patient with me and from the receptionist to the technician I had the same kind and quality experience!!! now i am glad that i am going to be a part of the Oxford community in a few months and coming to Walmart for my future eyecare services --- YOU ALL HAVE WON ME OVER!!! keep up the good work, always (and as of today 09.13.2023 no more eye care here )

My review seems to of been removed. I had the worst experience with this doctor in 50 years of wearing glasses. My husband and I went there and both of us was out of our examination in less than 5 minutes. He was rude and fast, so fast both our glasses are not useable. Oh I did go back for a second time to correct problem. He was still rude and had me crying on my way out the door. When I told him I couldn't see he said, yes you can and the exam was over. What a waste of time and money. We will not recommend him. If I could rate a zero I would.

Just recently I had a appointment with dr coward, my appointment was at 11:15, I was not seen untill 12:10!! I found out through the appointment that I have some issues, he referred me to a ophthalmologist. Dr coward was I'll, short with the questions I asked. He was rude. I am NOT going back to him!! I asked for my records to be faxed to another eye Dr... I was told there would be a fee!!! I will never go back there!! Yes he's cheaper that most Eye drs, you get what you pay for. Beware!!

Dr. Coward is the doctor for my entire family for 10 years now. He is very good with my children's eye exams....and that can be hard...but he always makes em smile. I appreciate that he takes the time to answer all my questions. As a mom, I know my children and I are in good hands...and that is SO important. Thanks Dr. C for caring about your patients!

I highly recommend Dr.David Coward to everyone. I injured my eye several years ago and I have been to many doctors trying to find one that could help me with my vision. Dr.Coward's help has literally changed my life! I didnt know he had special training as an eye surgeon when I made the appointment. I felt such relief that someone really understood what I was going through with my eye and had a plan to help. The difference in my vision is amazing! He is the absolute best eye doctor that I have ever been to. He is really smart and took the time to help me. If you are looking for the best eye doctor around---It's Dr.Coward.
