Asheville Eye Associates - Hendersonville

Excellent care, friendly and professional service. There was hardly any waiting time during my appointment. Dr. Crandall's nurse, Ruth, consistently goes above and beyond her duties--she is exceptionally caring with all patients and truly a lovely human being. I wish more medical offices would follow their example of professionalism and compassion. I always leave feeling well cared for and confident in the quality of my treatment

I was nervous about the visit to have my eyes checked, as it has been 20 years since last checked, and twenty seven years before that. I couldn't believe it was so easy and efficient at the Hendersonville location of Asheville Eye Associates. I would happily recommend them to everyone!

I DO NOT recommend Asheville eye for your eye care because their support staff has issues even though the doctors are good. The first appointment went fine in Arden. Then my son was scheduled for a contact fitting and was scheduled at the wrong office in Asheville. Cost me time away from work to go all the way to Asheville to be told he can't be seen. The next appointment went okay for the contact fitting. After checking out, I scheduled his next appointment for a final fitting review. When I arrived a week later they said I didn't have an appointment. I stood in line in the Hendersonville office for a ridiculous amount of time, then it took them 40 minutes to figure out what to do with us since I didn't have an appointment. I had to schedule to come back again because they wouldn't squeeze me in to the contact person's schedule even though it was their fault. Thankfully the last appointment went well. So essentially what should have been three appointments turned into five. That was all missed time from work and miles on my car for no reason. I called to let management (Barbara) know and they've yet to call me back. I've left two messages and plan to leave more. Bad customer service at this place.

I had an eye issue that needed attention this morning and came to the Hendersonville office without an appointment. They were very very accommodating and worked me in quickly. Dr Turlock quickly diagnosed and treated my eye. I left relieved of all symptoms. The complete staff were caring and compassionate. Could no have had a better experience.

They had very friendly, professional, and timely service. Dr. Yoder is a wonderful doctor. All the staff is very nice and helpful.

My wife and I both had appointments with Dr Julie on Tuesday. We both felt like we were rushed through our time with her. We ended up not finishing our time looking for frames, because we felt the same way in that part of the appointment. We honestly felt like we were an "inconvenience".

Overall experience was professional and efficient. After using my insurance and making my co-pay up front, I became very upset to find they charged my credit card on file an additional $40, without telling me, for an eye refraction. Something that should be standard and included on an annual eye exam. No longer happy with Asheville Eye Associates

Dr. Stone has been treating my idiopathic choroidal neovascularization since 2018. He is compassionate, kind, thorough and professional, and there is no one else I would trust more to maintain my vision--which is still holding steady at 20/20 (or better!) after years of injections. His staff is top-notch as well.
