Horrible experience! I ordered glasses and contact lenses. The glasses came in first. The second I tried them on, I couldn't see. It was like looking through a coke bottle and I instantly had a headache. The rude receptionist told me to try them a couple of days and get used to them. On day 5 (after only wearing them 5 minutes at a time before getting a headache), I took them back. They sent them off. When they came back in, still the same problem. Dr. DeAllen was very rude and said she had done all she could do. I left there crying. I saw a different eye doctor a few days later. We sent the same glasses off again and this time they came back perfect! During all of this, my contacts came in. I went in to see Dr. DeAllen to try them on. They were also "off". She tried switching them out and she made a slight adjustment to my right contact and it was perfect. She said she would order the contacts. I told the receptionist about the slight change she had made, she snapped that she ordered what was written down. I picked my new contacts up and tried them on this morning, and no surprise, they aren't right! I'm done with their office. I will take these to the new eye doctor so she can fix it. I'm so annoyed because I had to pay for my glasses twice and now I will have to pay for contacts twice!

I really like Dr. DeAllen and her staff. They are so friendly and makes me feel relaxed. She is concerned about my well being and I'd definitely recommend her to others.

I saw Dr De Allen today. I had initially scheduled on the phone for a routine eye exam for which my copay was going to be $10, and when I got to the appt Dr De Allen asked me if I was here for contact lenses prescription and fitting. This was the first time I've had eye insurance so it took me a minute to understand... I thought it was part of the prescription, but I said yes... what I didn't know was that "contact lens fitting" was $40 copay... I ended up paying $50 when I only needed to pay $10. I was thrown off by that and quickly realized the gimmick that was pulled. She obviously saw I was a first time patient and she overtook me by making me believe I had asked for fittings along with the exam and made it sound like it was part of the whole thing. I have to mention that she was extremely rude trying to play it off with a laugh every now and then. I had the sniffles and she told me that I should have enough common sense to know this was no longer a cold and that I shouldn't be here. And that I should "know better". I told her I just got tested yesterday to rule out COVID and she told me that Covid tests aren't always right. I kept insisting I do not have Covid and I felt like a child being patronized by an elder. She seemed to have little patience with me about me figuring out my insurance details (what is covered and what is not) and she kept insisting she had my insurance details pulled up so whatever I'll see on my app is what she had already told me. She was impatient rude condescending and I am not going back there again nor going to let my family go there. It was an unpleasant and rude experience. Sorry.

She is the best eye dr I've ever been to!! Great service, not a long wait and she really cared that I was in so much pain and went out of her way to get me cheapest scrips cuz of my insurance. Never seeing another dr even if I have to travel 3 hours I would make the drive
