Carolina Vision Care

Went to this place initially it fine. The provider is great, his staff needs training and the little girl they have answering the phone needs some support when she cannot properly answer questions. I wish I could file a claim against this office since my prescription is messed up and now I have to go somewhere else because all of a sudden now they are booking out for August. My first appointment was scheduled a month out, how convenient they took my money and now are unwilling to help. Take heed and listen to the reviews of places I wish I had.

The lady at the front counter refused to see me because I didn't have an actual insurance card. I had my print out with all my current information just not a card. To my understanding can all this be looked up. Now I have to wait another 6 months to see an eye doctor. No thank you.

We visited this office today and with all the medical issues with my eyes Dr Harvey and the receptionist were very helpful and polite BUT the man what ever his name may be that gave the options and price of the glasses was very disrespectful and said things about the persona Financial situation to her that was not very professional at all. ( what's more important having your nails done or seeing) He does not know that if someone else pays to have her nails done or not and that's none of his business and he was out of line to even say anything like that.

Dr Harvey. He is a super nice & caring Dr. Always friendly & cares about his patients concerns & issues. Takes alittle while to get an appointment unfortunately, but worth the wait

I will say Dr.harvey is a great person and easy to deal with. But the ladies at the front desk should be trained better and be more welcoming.

Went to this establishment for the 1st time. Was told they didnt have one of my insurances but I researched it 20 minutes later and found out they did. The young lady at the front desk asked the older lady if they had my insurances and the lady was so distracted she point blank told the young girl no! I ended up using the insurance that had the greatest out-of-pocket payment, as I had two types. It really pays to know whats offered or be familiar if you are working with your place of business on a daily basis. I felt a bit disatisfied and had I not liked that pair of glasses I later chose, I would have gone to another place of business. Know whats offered where you work, "all I'm sayn". I hope i will have a better experience when I pick up the glasses....maybe my stars will increase.

I haven't personally been to this facility in Kinston, and I don't ever plan on going based on the experiences of some of my clients and the experience that I personally had with the Carolina Vision Care staff over the telephone. My Unitedhealthcare customers are being overcharged for their glasses, and their Customer Service personnel is less than enthusiastic when interpreting how plan benefits reimburse for eyeglass prescriptions. This is NOT a place that I'd send my parents to if they needed help with their glasses. I'm sending my clients anywhere but here!!!

Just left, will never come back again. When i walked in, the receptionist never looked up to even speak. (Thats very dangerous this day in time; or maybe she didnt want to help me)Another receptionist called me over, then sent me to the eyeglass section where i never received any help! To Greenville I go!
