2\nBe clear.This one star review has nothing to do with professional vision or doctor shelton. This review has to do with the extremely rude receptionist that has worked there since I was a child. I have read several reviews on how rude she is.And how this issue is not being addressed by anybody. Good help is hard to find? What anybody else be willing to schedule without being ugly about it?; I am a hundred percent positive that if you hate your job that much , you should probably find a new one. I have been going to this practice for over 25 years and this woman has done nothing but get increasingly ugly. Not to mention in front of children and talking to fellow staff like they dont matter! Staff that were being kind and considerate and talking to us like we were people and not trash! Ah, clinics are always backed up. But they need to understand that we work as well and have to schedule these appointments months in advance and request off the days that we need to go to these appointments. It is not easy for us when things like this happen, either.. and to finish this up, I was told that my appointment on December 22nd was rescheduled, because it was the week of Christmas.I am sorry but I think Christmas comes on December 25th every year.And therefore , if you do not want to do appointments on the week of christmas , then they should not be scheduled that close to christmas. Again I would like to say that Dr. Shelton and the other staff are amazing!!

I called to see about scheduling an appointment. I was referred by Marion eye clinic bc they no longer take my insurance. I called and whoever does the scheduling is rude. Very shortly she said that it would be April or march before they could see me. I understand that bc it seems like the eye clinic are packed however before I could ask any questions in mid sentence she hangs up on me. I never leave reviews but I saw others have had the same experience with rude staff & I just could not believe she hung on me.

I've been seen by Dr. Shelton for 5 years and without a doubt I think she's the best in McDowell. She is attentive to my concerns about family history of retina detachment, through with my diabetes eye screening, and explains things very well, like the discovery of my blonde retinas. Her "bedside" manners are very elegant and makes you feel comfortable. I am more than happy with her being part of my personal health team. Her staff have always been courteous and prompt with my contact/glasses orders and appointment scheduling.

I have been going to Professional Vision for years! Dr Shelton and all her staff have always been welcoming and very professional. Dr Shelton is very thorough and takes the time to listen to any questions or concerns you may have. I look forward to seeing their new location next time I go back!

Just had my first visit with Dr. Shelton. She and her staff listened to all my concerns. Took their time to answer all of my questions. They even went out of their way to reach out to my insurance company (which is not a widely known company) before my appointment. Which made 1 less thing for me to have to worry about. I'm impressed and so glad to have found them. I will definitely be coming back for annual appointments. I can't say enough good things.

Recently had an appointment with Dr Shelton. Front desk staff were friendly. The exam went well and Dr Shelton took time to ensure all my questions and concerns were addressed and that my prescription was correct. Picking out my new frames was also super easy. Overall, it was a great experience.

First of all Brianna Shelton is awesome, very professional and great. My issue is I've had several issues with the front desk.That being sad I tried to order contacts on Oct.13th was informed they couldn't be ordered. I called another day an ask if they could email my prescription, was told no. October 24th I called again and ask why my money hadn't been put back on my account. AGAIN same rude front desk worker informed me they "had did me a favor"....first of all I pay for all my office visits as well as my contacts. THAT BEING SAD.I sad I already ordered else where.She informed me too bad no refund, contacts where on there way enjoy. My e mail can prove they where ordered after the pathetically rude call.....after they close @ 5:14

I been going to Dr. Sheldon for years because she is caring and supports veterans. Most reviews are about the receptionist, so like she said good help is hard to find, but so are good doctors. Give her a chance.
