Robbin the manager went above and beyond to help me get the right prescriptions for contacts and glasses. Her patience and diligence to make sure I have as cared for by the best qualified Dr. all the way through ordering my glasses and contacts was so refreshing. Thank you, Robbin!

I called ahead to ask questions about bringing my glasses in to have them repaired. spoke to a LOVELY lady on the phone who answered all my questions. i got to the store and it was busy so i just took a seat in front of the receptionist desk, no big deal. 10 minutes went by and nobody greeted me , asked why i was there, nothing. meanwhile phones are still being answered and a person who came in after me was greeted. i came to the location because it's closest to me but will be taking my money and service to a different location.

David cohen has always got my Rx just right! He's been my dr for 15 years!! I have 100 percent assurance that he will do you right! He's personable friendly and honest.

This was my first visit to Americas best. As I entered no greeting, which is fine they had their heads in the computer. I was attended very well by everyone including Dr Sharma they all went above and beyond. While checking out with this girl by the name of Cindy is when everything went downhill. I don't know if she was in rush to go home as it was store closing time. She was rushing us and any questions I asked she wasn't answering them correctly. She kept repeating the same verbiage treating us like we were morons. Her body language her rolling of eyes and making eye contact with the other lady across the room told me all . I felt insulted and degraded. She then proceeded to hand my paper work to someone else to finish, not saying why she was doing that. I'm Very disappointed also with store manager who was supposed to call me the next day but hasn't yet. I'm still waiting for someone to call me since 12-27 regarding this terrible experience in this store.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Horrible customer service. I have been going here for 5 years and always pay out of pocket. I just had twins and I broke my glasses and need to order new ones, they refused to fax me my prescription, because it expired in August, they told me I could come in for an appointment for a new rx, I told them it was not possible at this current time because of having infant twins and I just need to order a new pair with my old rx until I can make the time for an appointment, they still refused. I let them know that was unacceptable and Legally they cannot keep my rx from me. I was firm and didnt take their no for an answer and the assistant manager called me names over the phone and hung up on me. I called customer service # and they said they would get the rx sent to me and that I would hear from the district manager about the issue within 24-48 hrs. It has been 6 days and I have not received my prescription and have not heard from the manager about the issue. Clearly, this is not important to them. I may only be 1 customer, but If you continue with this customer service, I imagine you'll continue to lose customers. Will never return to this or any americas best.

I have never had issues with America's Best glasses before but I have now visited the Matthews location four times and I still cannot see out of the pairs they provided me. I tried to reach out first through the America's best website and it took 17 days for a response to be returned. They were helpful when I went back in to discuss the matter with them and offered me a "re-exam," which I went to today. I am still not sure that Dr. Cohen did an adequate exam even after the second visit and all they did was give me the same Rx as before and try to sell me progressives that would cost 4X the amount of the single vision. I explained several times that I can see up close fine in every situation in my life but one and that it is not enough of an issue to warrant progressives. But I can see better up close out of my older outdated glasses than I can with the new ones and all the manager could say is that it was a mystery to her why that was the case. No refund was offered and the only solution was that I spend $500 on a pair of progressives, which I already explained I did not need. So, before I got upset with someone I left the store with the new glasses I cannot see out of. You would think if I were so dissatisfied with them that they would offer a refund. Beware buyer of this company. Look up their Better Business Bureau grade and you will see that it is an F. I will never do business with them again! UPDATE: First of all, I'm sorry for my negative review. I honestly did not know what to think when I saw the BBB rating AFTER I had been to get my glasses. And to be frank, I was so upset when I went back that I did not even ask for a refund. I did not want to make a scene in the store. But, America's Best RESOLVED my issue, at least by giving me a full refund. I still do not understand why I could not see out of those two pairs of glasses but at least I have the funds to try something else. And, the manager Robin was perfectly polite when I went back for the refund today. She deserves to be commended for keeping her cool with a very demanding customer! Thank you again!

The assisting manager at this location was very helpful. I'm not a patient or a customer yet, but I was there inquiring about glasses and prices. She walked me through the process and promotions. I will definitely recommend America's Best!! and I'm making my appointment next week.

I picked up my glasses today and the woman who fitted me, Virginia, refused to give me my PD measurements after I was specifically told only weeks ago, if I was buying my glasses from them I could. Not only did I buy glasses from there, my eye exam was performed there. As I walked out, the two young ladies at the front desk, Anna and Monica, asked if everything was alright, and I explained what happened. I then asked if the manager was there and one of the young ladies, Monica, identified herself as the assistant. She then told Virgina, since I did buy glasses I could have this information and asked if it was on my prescription and Virgina stated that it was not. Virgina yet then mentioned something about her reputation which has absolutely nothing to do with the price of tea in China! What does she think I'm going to do with MY OWN PD information, sell it on the black market??? I asked the assistant manager if this employee was simply being difficult Or mean? Then Virgina started to say something, and I simply stated it was not worth the argument, told the young ladies at the front desk to have a nice day, and walked out. I will be contacting corporate regarding this. Why was I verbally told I could have it weeks ago, the assistant said yes, yet I was refused. This is very poor business etiquette. I drove an hour to this location to give them my business and do not appreciate being lied to. This is an integrity issue and poor customer service. The young ladies at the front desk were wonderful, however I did not care for how Viginia handled this matter, nor a few comments she made, when she was fitting my glasses. I had a concern about seeing out of them and the looseness of the glasses, and felt she simply disregarded my feelings. I'm the client, and the glasses are on MY face, so how are you going to disregard what I'm sharing? I followed protocol; why would I drive an hour back home without sharing my concerns if I had an issue with the glasses at pick up? Her attitude and behavior was unwarranted.
