I had a very positive experience at Metrolins for day surgery. From the moment I arrived, everything was well organized. I received my premedication on time and was taken care of attentively before the procedure. The staff were outstanding. They made a real effort to accommodate me, personalized the care, clearly explained their roles, and walked me through what to expect so I felt informed and comfortable at every step. The doctor A. was especially reassuring. They were positive, friendly, and consistently explained what was happening and what the next steps would be, which helped remove any anxiety and prevented surprises. Overall, the care felt thoughtful, professional, and patient-centered. I felt well supported throughout the entire experience and would highly recommend this team.

Every time I go to see Dr Blotnick, I'm always completely satisfied. His office people are wonderful and patient and he's an amazing doctor. He did my cataract surgery and I had absolutely no problems with it. I recommend Metroliner Eye Associates without reservation. Wendy Ryan

First visit. All staff were at the front desk were very professional and very friendly. First impression are very important. I loved that all were in uniforms and dress code was very impressive. Your staff seemed to enjoy their work and all showed teamwork asvv CB i observed them helping each other. The young lady that assisted me was amazing. Patient is a virtue and she understood that. Showed kindness to this old lady. All of your staff that entered the room were very knowledgeable and helpful. All displays great work ethics. You should be proud they work for your company. The Physician was amazing. I felt comfortable with him and he explained all aspects of my procedure. Also gave me some material to read. I had ask the young lady a little about him during my eye exam. She said he very good awesome . Specialist. Highly recommend. So that spoke volumes to me.

From my 1st call to Metrolina Eye with the prompt, professional and caring assistance from Kim to the immediate scheduling of my cataract consultation and surgery dates with Dr Mac to the thorough pre-testing by his skilled techs to the thorough evaluation of my eyes by Dr Mac, I couldn't have been more thankful and relieved that Dr Mac was going to take of my cataract laser eye surgery. Dr Mac is by far the most knowledgeable medical doctor and cataract specialist (*this was my 2nd consult!) and more importantly, Dr Mac spent the time necessary to explain the best approach to correcting my eyesight and to reassure me that the outcome would be most favorable to my unique eye shape. I came into the consultation with a lot of uneasiness and left very excited to have the surgery performed by Dr Mac!

The staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I felt very comfortable and not rushed through my exam. Every staff member made sure if I had any questions they answered right away.

I typically do not write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience with this business, particularly regarding the customer service I received from the Indian Land Billing Office. When I called to clarify a billing issue related to a specific account number, the representative (Alison) began referencing a different account altogether. Upon correcting her, she abruptly ended the call without explanation. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I've encountered challenges with their customer service. If there were an option to give a rating lower than one star, I would. I have undergone two separate eye surgeries with this provider. While the surgical outcomes themselves were successful, the overall experience has been overshadowed by ongoing issues with their administrative practices and support staff. Despite concerns during my first procedure--including inconsistent communication and scheduling inefficiencies--I chose to return for a second surgery and even referred my spouse to them. During my second surgery however, anesthesia wore off prematurely, and I experienced discomfort during the procedure leading to raised BP. I also returned home still wearing ECG monitor tags. These oversights raise serious concerns about procedural diligence. That said, I encountered a series of concerning issues throughout both processes. These included: * Discrepancy between information provided by call center team and actual billing costs * Billing Insurance using my spouse's policy despite being a self-pay patient for post-op surgery visits * Incorrect billing and excessive charges collected on the day of surgery * Miscommunication between text confirmations and account records * Last-minute changes to IOL lens selection * Problems with IOL scheduling While I appreciate the skill of the surgical team, the administrative and billing experiences have been consistently frustrating and, at times, distressing. I hope this feedback encourages the business to improve its customer service standards and internal coordination.

The staff are all wonderful. Friendly, highly skilled, and professional. This rating is not for them. However the company: Metrolina Eye Associates PLLC, incorporated in 2004 is so grossly profit driven it is appalling. I understand the importance of efficiency to make a profit, but there should be a balance between optimizing profit for the corporation and actually serving your customers (oops, patients.) As a random example, though they do a lot of cosmetic surgery, they also provide treatments that are generally for older customers. It is so embarrassing to watch old people like my husband walk past a desk (3 young ladies staring down at their screens and busily typing) to go to the mandatory computerized check-in kiosk. Which also asks for both their Medicare and SS numbers. I don't think the majority of the senior patients can actually read the kiosk screen. If they can't read it, they have to interrupt one of the busy young ladies to ask for help. So embarrassing for them! Why? Computers are cheaper than human workers, hence more profit for the owners. Another example. Scheduling is a nightmare. We are in our 70s and it's a 2-hour drive to Metrolina. They scheduled a follow-up visit (2nd surgery) for my husband the day before his third surgery. Two different locations a few miles apart. I was told they could not schedule the 2nd follow-up visit the same day as his 3rd surgery or even the same day as his follow visit for that 3rd surgery. Not even asking for both at the same location, just trying to avoid 2 round trips in the same week. Those are just two random examples. Other issues include the bad software they use for check in and pre-surgical questions. Hubby and I have worked in computer technology since the 70s - we know bad software. So...if you're willing to be treated like cattle solely to maximize the corporations profits, this is the place for you.
