I was very nervous about my son's LASIK surgery. He has Autism. I wanted to make his life better, not add new issues and side effects that are possible when choosing to do LASIK. Dr. Stolldorf has always been very good with my son. Answered all my questions and my son's questions about the procedure. We feel fortunate and blessed that everything went exactly as planned. My son's recovery was great. My son is seeing excellent and doesn't have to hassle with glasses. Money well spent!

I am so grateful to Dr Stolldorf who did my cataract surgery and the staff at Novant Huntersville Surgery Center. This is one day after my surgery and I have no pain and according to my post surgery visit I am healing very well. I think Dr Stolldorf did an excellent job and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs to get their eyes checked. I love Dr Bell! My 4 children have been "seeing" Dr Bell for years now. If I may be so bold to say? The folks at the front reception area tend to make me personally feel like I'm bothering them when I ask questions. They could do a bit better. I know a lot of older folks come to this office and it just makes me feel bad if they're not treated with respect and a smile.

Dr. Bell is great. But over the past few years the rest of the staff has become unfriendly and rude. When I've stopped in for follow up on contacts or glasses, order, pickup, etc I've been treated like its an inconvenience to be there and ask them to do their jobs. During my kids' annual appts, I was trying to get info on the glasses, prices, and what insurance would cover, and let my kids pick out their frames, but because I wasn't buying that day they didn't look anything up, and basically ignored me. So when I went back to order new lenses and frames for my daughter, I was informed frames weren't covered, and I couldn't order for my son because he wasnt with me and they didn't take his measurements when he was there and I was trying to figure all of this stuff out. So another trip back with him and the staff was very unfriendly. I sent my husband to pick up the glasses and he came home telling me that they were rude to him just for picking up and asking questions about the insurance. I will pay out of pocket to go somewhere my insurance is not covered instead of going back here. I understand people have bad days, but 6+ visits for various things over the last 2 years and being treated poorly each time is enough for me.
