Mills Eye Care

It had been a while since I had been in but they picked back up right like last time. Friendly and quick. Dr. Brittany was great and so was Christina. She was very patient with me while I couldn't figure out which frames to go with. Thank you both!! I highly recommend Mills Eye Care!!!

I didn't have the positive experiences others have had with the Mills doctors at Mills Eye Care. My appointment was with a recent graduate (her name wasn't even on the door) or I'm sure this review would be more positive. My appointment with her was the first one after lunch, 1:30 pm. I arrived at 1:15 pm, as instructed. They took back Dr. Mills 1:30 pm appointment at 1:30 pm & his 2:00 pm appointment at 1:45 pm. I asked one of the receptionists how much longer it would be. She immediately asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I asked her if the optometrist I was seeing was there & she said yes & that she didn't know why I hadn't been taken back yet. I should've immediately asked to see Dr. Mills since he'd taken his 2:00 pm appointment at 1:45 pm but, unfortunately, I didn't. I wasn't taken back until 2:00 pm, which was 45 minutes after I arrived & 30 minutes after my appointment time. I feel like the health of my eyes was checked, but the prescription I was given was completely wrong. I'd brought in my previous prescription & the exact same numbers were copied to my new prescription, except she upped the right eye (too much). That's the only number she changed & the vision in both of my eyes is worse this year. Thank goodness I purchased my glasses from LensCrafters & they refunded me for my incorrect glasses because they have a 30 day guarantee, even though it wasn't their fault the prescription was incorrect. I got another eye exam at LensCrafters (the optometrist in Mooresville was great) & I had to wait an additional week for my new glasses, with the correct prescription. I wish I'd been able to see Dr. Mills & I'm pretty sure my experience would've been different, however I won't be going back.

I have been going here for many years. Dr. Mills jr and his staff are amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Christina was AWESOME!!! She was knowledgeable and fun. Great personality and so helpful when choosing my glasses. She kept checking with the lab when there was a delay. Attentive and diligent to make sure everything was correct.

Dr Mills and his staff are so wonderful. They are caring and so easy to talk with. I get very nervous whenever I go to a Dr. Dr Mills makes me feel very comfortable. He listens and answers my questions. I'm so glad I found this practice.

These folks are passionate about making sure your eyes are healthy and that you get dialed in with the correct prescription. Tremendous locally owned business where the focus is on the individual patient. There is a holistic approach where they want to understand your overall health and how that impacts your vision and is impacted by your vision. They are a Mooresville institution and deservedly so for their compassionate and caring service.

Dr Mills is a great eye Dr. He is pleasant, really delightful to be around. He explains things in great detail & then ask if you have any questions. His staff is professional in every manner. And he has some discounts in eyewear. I completely recommend Mills Eye Care!
