Mooresville Eye Care

I had my first eye appointment here today. It had been several years since I've been. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet and helpful and Dr Buchanan was great! She listens to you and ensures you are getting the best care. 10/10 recommend!

Well, lets just start over. I had the new manager reach out to me regarding the lost glasses. She told me the story behind the lost orders. Her name is Mindy, and she was extremely professional. I may have jumped the gun on my review and after talking to Mindy, we are going to continue our business with mooresville eye care. Thank you for calling me with your concerns, miss Mindy.

The staff is great. Very efficient, very gracious. Dr. Buchanan took the time to explain to me what to expect as far as evolution of my diagnosis. I was very impressed with my visit.

Wonderful experience at Mooresville Eye Care. The staff is so friendly and I enjoyed meeting Dr Buchanan. She is very knowledgeable and sincere. Diana was super helpful too as I decided on a new pair of glasses. Overall it was a really excellent experience and I would recommend them to anyone in the Mooresville area.

Office was amazing when Dr. Ziebell was there and the front desk personnel were outstanding customer service. Something has happened ever since Dr. Ziebell left. The ladies at the front seem to have an attitude and like I am bothering them if heaven forbid I have a question or need something. Not to mention I was offered a trial brand of contacts to wear and see if I would potentially like them better. After a few weeks I decided I liked the fit of my previous brand contacts. When I called to let them know the office manager told me that shouldn't be the case bc the "newest" ones are better. Are they my eyes or hers? Anyway after her trying to persuade me to go with the new brand I finally got my old ones I like ordered. My family and I will be looking elsewhere for eye care this place is getting worse and worse. We miss you Dr. Ziebell!

My husband and I have been patients of this practice for almost 10 years. We loved Dr. Ziebell, and we have enjoyed Dr. Cole since he retired. Unfortunately, a practice goes beyond the physicians. The competency of the staff based upon multiple interactions in the last 2-3 years is more than lacking. I can only attribute it to the increased staff turnover and the possible lack of training. Appointment types have been incorrectly scheduled for my husband more than once, and no one seems to know what is going on administratively. I hate that this practice has evolved into this level of care, but hopefully the doctors can turn things back around soon! In the meantime, we are switching to another practice in hopes of a more competent staff.

My husband and daughter are patients and they are fantastic! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, from the staff at the desk right when you walk in to the optometric assistants, the optometrist and even the wonderful woman who helps you choose your frames and gets them on order. They really made my daughter feel at ease and comfortable explaining what they were doing and how the different machines worked and assisted them in checking her eyes and determining her prescription. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an optometrist.
