The staff is wonderful. My mom is 94 and they are very good with her.

If there was a higher rating, I would give it. From reception to check out, everyone was efficient and professional. They quickly put me at ease, answered my questions, and quelled my concerns. Dr Patel came in bright and cheerful. He told me what he was going to do, what his expectations were and what I could expect. He questioned me as to comfort and ensured I was totally ready for treatment. It was as pleasant an experience as could wish for under these circumstances.

It was a GREAT experience! The office is so efficiently run. I was taken back right away and never left sitting long between tests. Then when I was taken in a room to see Dr Pate, he came right in. I was very pleased with how thorough and upbeat he was. I'm very pleased he is my Doctor. I feel like I'm in good hands!!

I have been a patient at the New Bern office for 7 years. I saw Dr. Patel for most of my time here. He is a great doctor and I wouldn't want to see another one here. However, I am having to come on here to write a review about the awful treatment from the front office staff at this location. I was sent a letter, apparently, to an old listed address that I have not lived at for 5 years. I know in those 5 years, and 5 appointments, I updated my address. However this letter apparently stated that I was being released as a patient because my eye issues were not important enough for Dr. Patel to be able to see me anymore. I did not get a phone call or any follow up from this. I make my appointment for the next year at my yearly appointment, following the doctor's orders. I think the way they have handled "dismissing" patients is unprofessional and just blatantly disrespectful of patients time. If I ever missed an appointment, I would be charged for their time being wasted. I had to take an entire day off work because of the issues with scheduling a year ago but that doesn't matter. My time is wasted and all I got was an office managers phone number to call back and some recommendations for other offices who are hopefully taking new patients. (I hope whoever is reading this can feel the sarcasm there.) Just awful. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Dr. Patel was knowledgeable, timely, and friendly. He took the time to review my records and explain my testing. His staff was also very nice and helpful to make sure my testing was accurate! Such a refreshing experience in a world where medicine is usually so rushed!

Dr. Patel is pleasant and very professional. I am in recovery and feel the problem is resolved. He responds to questions and I feel comfortable with him telling me that some residual conditions will take time to manage. His support staff is efficient. I would appreciate them introducing themselves as they work with me.

My experience has been very pleasant. The staff have been very polite and professional. Dr. Pate is exceptional and has a very pleasant patient relationship. He puts you at ease.

Dr. Patel has such an excellent bedside manner. He is always friendly. He asks about how you are and how your family is doing. It always puts a smile on our faces when we hear him saying " Hello ........ How ya doing. How's your family." My dad and I immediately turn to each other and smile knowing he is there. He is always looking to see what can make things better for you.
