I was pleased with the service I received during my visit. The receptionist was very professional & pleasant. Chris was very nice, professional & explained to me what to expect during my visit. And last but certainly not least, was Dr. Braswell, who I was most impressed with. He walked in with a very friendly greeting/introduced himself with a firm eye-contact handshake. He even complimented me on my warm winter sweater! Dr. Braswell clearly explained to me what to expect during his examination. I was so impressed with his kindness & professionalism. I'm very saddened to know my visit might be the first/last time seeing him. Well wishes on his upcoming retirement!

Everyone was so nice and friendly. My daughter came to the eye doctor for the first time and she was really nervous, to say the least. Every single person at this office made my daughter feel comfortable and happy. I highly recommend coming here to anyone. It is a very professional and caring setting.

Dr. Braswell was great. I assume he doesn't know what terrible customer service is provided and absolute lack of care the staff provides. Last time we ordered glasses after 5 weeks with no glasses and multiple attempts to see where they were we had to get a refund. This was a prescription from Duke Eye rehab for a patient that had double retina surgery who desperately needed these glasses. Eye mart express is where we had to take prescription (after waiting 5 weeks w eye care center and making them give refund) and while timely didn't love quality. So here we are a year later w a new Duke rehab eye prescription and because Dr. Braswell was so kind we tried again thinking last terrible service must have been a fluke. So far a total failure. I went in person at 19 days from order and was told they must be in transit since they weren't in the back or on lab list. (Similar to last excuses). That was a week ago. Left message today since they don't answer phone and no return call again. It's my fault for giving them a second chance to do better. Showing up in person tomorrow for a refund so we can go somewhere else. (Again) Do not get glasses from here especially if urgently needed.

The process and especially the doctor were great. Couple of things though. I was left waiting for lens selection and eventually they said they had "technical difficulty ". I should come back another day. There were 3 people manning the desk with very few patients. Those 3 were just yapping.

They are very unprofessional. They canceled my appointment and pushed it back 2 more months after I already had to wait 3-4 months for the one that was already scheduled. They do not give you any updates on your glasses. You have to call a million times. They told me my glasses were going to be ready in 4 weeks. I call back in 4 weeks and now I'm finding out they won't be ready until another month, but nobody thought to call and give me an update. Ridiculous. UPDATE: JUST NOW picking up my glasses! When I ordered them the lady knew how I was paying and continued showing me different colors I could get for my glasses and submitted an order for an all black pair. I get my glasses and they are the original color. So no one thought to call and say that I wasn't eligible to get them they just give me what they want instead seeing if I wanted to pick another pair. Will not be returning!

The front desk staff. They are rude lazy and lost in knowing their job. After standing at counter 3-4 minutes before one of the 3 offered to stand up and ask to help me. I told the girl my daughter and I have our annual eye exams. She proceeds to hand two clip boards and said fill out the two forms and it'll be $ for each exam. I tried to explain to her I already knew the price with insurance. She wouldn't listen to me . I ask her what insurance she had on file so I could verify it was right. I even tried to offer her our insurance card she didn't look at it. Anyway we done our exams and I paid our bills . I got home and called insurance they confirmed what I already knew So I called their insurance dept. I told the lady I was improperly billed and what about my refund. Now I'm waiting for that. Needless to say I should've trusted in what I knew and told her to just bill me. Just because you're the customer most employees assume your dumb and don't know anything but customers are not always wrong. I have been on both sides of the counter yes I've been wrong and admitted it Far as working with the public I've always treated anyone I waited on with kindness and assistance. That office doesn't even get one of those qualities right.

Dr. Braswell is probably the kindest doctor I've ever interacted with. He's very personable and is attentive and present. He genuinely demonstrates that he cares about you and explains everything as he reviews it with you.

The appointment was ok yet 5 months later I received a bill for $30+ saying medicaid didn't pay for their glasses pick up consultation. What is that even forThey handed me my prescription and glasses. No adjustments nothing so why would I pay that? Just a money grab.
