Dr. Casper was the 12th specialist I saw after being sick for over a year, with a 5 year history of unknown and undiagnosed illnesses. Although he wasn't the diagnosing physician for my complicated, multi-faceted case, he was the first dr (in both Wilmington, NC and Portland, OR) who saw me as a WHOLE person, hearing my symptoms and believing my pain. He worked with friends at Ohio State to try to get me answers. Although my illnesses (chronic co-infections, heavy metal poisoning & intestinal parasites) were diagnosed and treated by an amazing Dr. in Portland, Dr. Casper was the one who initially got the ball rolling. He is humble, extremely kind, and honestly brilliant. I cannot say enough good things about this practice because this is what healing should always look like. Dr. Casper will advocate for his patients while looking out for their WHOLE health, even if he isn't entirely sure of the culprit. His tests literally saved my life.
