I was worked up by Annie who was very friendly and made me feel comfortable with her. I had my appointment with Dr Cox who was very efficient and informative. He addressed my concerns and helped me to understand my diagnosis. Throughout the office was a buzz of cheerful and friendly patients and employees. It was a great experiences!

Everyone was fantastic. DR. WENZ IS THE BEST EYE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER HAD.! He is accurate and takes his time to evaluate everything in detail! Thank you so much! My son finally for once loves his Rx and is so proud of wearing them! I could not thank him enough!!!

Outstanding Experience with Sam at EyeCare Center on Oleander Drive! I had the absolute best experience today thanks to Sam! From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel completely at ease. Sam is incredibly knowledgeable -- she took the time to thoroughly explain all of my lens and frame options, answered every single question I had (and I had a lot!), and never once made me feel rushed. Sam didn't just help me with my lenses, she won a lifelong customer. I'll be recommending the Oleander Drive location to all my friends and family specifically because of her outstanding service. Thank you, Sam -- you're a total gem!

Dr. Wenz was quite knowledgeable and experienced. He had a great bedside manner. Miss Jen and Mr. Mello were an absolute delight to work with. 5 stars out of 5. Plus you get to see an in person Dr. 5 out of 5 !

Dr. Cox is great and is the only reason to ever step foot in this place. Everyone else working there is simply too incompetent. Front desk knows nothing related to their work and WILL make mistakes in your chart. Every order I've placed for glasses, either for myself or my family, came back wrong and/or defective. Stay away for your own good!

This was my first visit to an eye doctor, and I arrived feeling a bit nervous. The front desk staff did little to ease that, as the initial interaction did not feel welcoming and the phone call experience was awful. They even pretended to lose service and hung up on me when I was asking questions and with a really degrading tone. However, once I was taken back for preliminary tests, the experience improved immediately. The technician who assisted me was incredibly kind, reassuring, and truly the best person I could have spoken with in that moment. When the doctor came in, he was focused, knowledgeable, and thorough. He even took extra time to explain the different parts of the eye using an actual model, which I really appreciated. He provided clear guidance, addressed my concerns, and made sure I knew what to do moving forward--including what to avoid. Overall, he was excellent and took great care of me.

Very nice office, relaxing and every one was very pleasant and helpful. You get in and out but not rushed. I do recommend this office for your next eye exam and glasses

Long review summary: Dr Wenz is great, office staff is hit or miss with their customer service. Avoid Sam as optician, as she has zero customer service. Zero stars for Sam, 1 star for the less than friendly white receptionist that I dealt with, 5 stars for Lisa, Jenn and the doctor. From the day of the visit: Dr Wenz was so patient with me. I have eye phobias and wanted to opt out of some testing which he allowed and provided alternatives so that I could still benefit from a full exam. Lisa was also so great performing these tests and understanding of my hesitations to certain tests due to sensory processing issues. Lastly, Jen was very helpful and friendly when helping me choose the right frame! Highly recommend this office and Dr Wenz. Updating review since receiving my glasses: When I got my glasses, they felt VERY off. I brought them in and was seen by Sam. I explained the issue, and that the AR coating was incorrect- I had wanted the premium not the plus. She tested my glasses, and came back and said "Well, they are perfect so I don't know what you want me to do." I asked her to see if the doctor could contact me about rolling my prescription back the .25 diopters that it had changed, perhaps it was affecting me a lot more than other people because my moderate astigmatisms. She was not friendly at all, and I left feeling like I had majorly inconvenienced them by "complaining" about my "perfect" lenses. Fast forward, I get a call yesterday from Sam saying "We got your new lenses in, we did the same exact prescription- there actually was an error with the OC of your other glasses". No apology from Sam for having gaslit me and treated me like a fool for bringing the glasses in with a problem, when there truly was a problem. I mentioned that I really would have rather been contacted because I wanted to talk with the doctor about continuing my previous prescription, like he told me I could since I was kind of in between the two diopters. While talking to her, she interrupted me and said "I am going to put you on with my manager", in a condescending tone like I WAS THE ONE THAT MADE A MISTAKE. To top it off, the "new lenses" had the same low quality AR coating and not the premium that I had tried to order BOTH times I was in there. I bought Versace glasses- I wanted the highest quality lens to go with them. I am a wedding photographer, and absolutely understand the importance of quality glass/filters etc. At this point, I was basically in tears from frustration, and being treated like trash by Sam. It took me 4 years to get back to the eye doctor due to a phobia, and at this point I will likely never go back to this office despite loving my interaction with the doctor, Lisa, and Jen. Eventually Jen, the manager came and sat with me to try to get everything corrected, but I was at the point of seriously regretting not taking my prescription to a different optician, like LensCrafters. Look, I get that accidents happen. Human error is real. But consistent BAD ATTITUDES and poor customer service are inexcusable. If you don't like working with the public, don't. Get a back of house job. Looking through the reviews, Sam has been mentioned by name by another person for the same issue, as well as the front desk staff (also had a less-than experience with them, but I get that some people just don't have robust personalities). Hopefully management can help educate their employees on customer care and basic human decency.
