Bergstrom Eye and Laser Clinic

If you ever want to have an eye surgery for cataract or upgrade lens replacement shop around I walked into Bergstrom's office. Had many tests was told. I had macular degeneration Fuchs disease. Even though my prior optometrist had never mentioned any of this to me, I chose an upgrade lens and was told I picked the right one for my specific needs with the multifocal lens, I should not have to wear glasses The next step I was passed onto billing department Talked to two different people each person explained cost very differently And not matching price quotes I proceeded to request everything itemized in writing with a signature later I called my primary insurance and my secondary My Last cataract and lens replacement was July 22, 2025. Keep in mind. Everything had to be paid in advance. The billing office said they only submit one code to My primary insurance It is January 5. I received a bill statement date 12 to 25 received it in the mail stamped on 12 /24/25 For a little over $1000 patient responsibility with a statement balance Of a little over $600 I questioned the billing department. They pass the buck to another agency handling their billing. No call has been returned Keep in mind, my eyes constantly drains, vision is blurry with not much change in my eyesight. I am now told maybe I need a cornea transplant I might add one of my Post operative appointment with the nurse practitioner. I asked to speak with the actual surgeon. She copped a major attitude left the room came back and said it's going be quite some time before he can come in here in hopes that I would leave, which I did. I chose this physician because he was the only one in North Dakota that surgically used this specific upgrade lens. They were more concerned about payment than improving patient eyesight What a mistake. This is one office that should coordinate their statements made none of them match each other If you want confusion from the time, you push the door to go in to pull the door to go out. This is the place to be. I do not recommend This facility for any and all future eye care Brenda M

Dr. Bergstrom and staff were outstanding. They snuck my 3 year old in for an irritated eye. Find out later here it's a 5 mm scratch on his eye. In and out in 20 min. Awesome visit and we will be back for sure. Thank you Dr B and crew.

Always a great experience at my annual exam. Everyone is friendly, good at communicating what is happening during the process, and knowledgeable in there special area.

I was able to get in for an eye appt. quickly. Friendly staff, no waiting. I was taken in immediately for the preliminary things they do before seeing the eye doc. Just courteous, great staff. Always great to see Dr. Tracie!

My experience with Bergstrom Eye Clinic was amazing! Not only is Dr B excellent in his field but also the staff in the clinic is friendly and so efficient, it was a joy to see happy faces every visit! I felt cared for and safe trusting my precious eyesight to Dr Bergstrom and staff!

Dr Heinrich was awesome to work with. Very thorough and answered all of my questions. I will be back for my yearly exam for sure.

Dr. Malsom is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The office staff and assistants are all helpful and enjoyable to work with. I love trusting my eye health to Dr. Malsom.
