Dr Masciarelli & Kisch

The optometrist is great but the staff is horrible at communication and customer service skills. I told them twice that I couldn't pick up my order until I was back in town (it arrived in their store the day after I had to leave). The same day I was going to pick it up, I get a nasty email saying they would "report me to the credit bureau if I didn't pay my bill". If they had bothered to read my texts, they would know I was out of town and was going to pick it up as soon as I can. But instead, treat me like some kind of deadbeat criminal - after seeing this optometrist for well over a decade. They should have put a note on my order to remind them of my situation and then, if they thought I forgot or something (which I had not - how does somebody forget they need a refill on contact lenses), texted a FRIENDLY reminder

We were warmly and respectfully welcomed by the entire staff and the doctor upon our arrival. From the very beginning, their kindness and professionalism were evident. The team conducted the initial examination with great care and expertise, ensuring we felt comfortable and well-attended. The doctor, in particular, was exceptionally approachable and took the time to explain every detail of the reports with clarity and patience. This level of communication made us feel informed and reassured throughout the process. The quality of treatment we received as patients far surpassed our experiences at other clinics. The attention to detail and genuine concern for our well-being left a lasting impression. We are absolutely 100% satisfied with their outstanding services and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of quality care.

I was told they didn't take my insurance but could reimburse me. I went due to time constraints. I paid cash and they billed my insurance company and received funds from the carrier. I still haven't received my refund. I have called and messaged them. They said a check was sent. I let them know I never received. 10 months later, they still have both payments. Avoid!!!

I received a high quality eye exam from Dr. Masciarelli and her excellent staff, I was entirely satisfied. The remarkable thing was it took about half the time I was used to. The clinic is very efficient and professional without being at all impersonal. You get genuine personal attention and explanation, all you need, yet things go quickly because you can tell the place is a well oiled machine. I highly recommend Dr. Masciarelli and her clinic.

We started going to Dr. Masciarelli a few years ago when we had a change in our insurance and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Masciarelli practices in a small office, so my family feels very comfortable. She has been wonderful with myself and my children. My daughter started Kindergarten this year and our most recent visit was her first. She did great, thanks to the professional and caring ways of Dr. Masciarelli. My oldest daughter and myself opted for contacts this year, for the first time ever. Dr. Masciarelli and her team made the experience so wonderful. They were helpful and patient as we navigated our new journeys in our site. I would recommend Dr. Masciarelli and her team to anyone.

After many years of going here, my last experience was disappointing. I complained to my mom that my glasses weren't helping anymore, so she brought me in. After the eye exam, we were told that my prescription didn't change. I told my mom that can't be right, so we went to another eye doctor. Within three minutes he was able to confirm that I had a focally lazy eye, something that, if caught early, could've been corrected when I was young. Unfortunately, Dr. Masciarelli never caught this in the 8 years I went to her. It hurts knowing I now forever have to live with something that could've been fixed. My family and I haven't been back in three years.

Dr. Masciarelli is SO kind & thoughtful. She provides informative explanations of everything & definitely adds that personal touch which is missing from so many other commercialized options. Highly recommend!!
