Wonderful staff! Wonderful atmosphere! They also recycle contacts (worn or not), the original plastic and the foil. I will always support businesses that are mindful of their environmental impact and who make efforts to combat any waste associated with their practice!

Dr. Archibold herself blew me away with the education she provided during her exam. She is clearly as passionate provider and I wish I could somehow continue to see just her. Unfortunately my experiences over several months have cemented that I will never step foot in that office again nor subject my children to the level of disrespect we experienced. During my first assessment with Nancy I shared a diagnosis I don't often disclose because of the stigma and lack of basic knowledge people possess about it. Nancy was dismissive and informed me that I am not-so wildly inappropriate, disrespectful and unprofessional. Nancy had known me for all of 45 minutes, not to mention she was so far out of her lane making statements like that. At another visit my 8 year old daughter was respectfully expressing her displeasure at having to continue therapy to me. Nancy interjected that she needed to do therapy so boys would like her. That was not the only time Nancy felt the need to step into a parenting role. The vision therapy program lacks consistency and transparency. My experiences varied vastly depending on who was providing the therapy. One time I spent 3 weeks on a specific exercise only to find out I was been taught incorrectly the first time. No one was able to tell me where I was in the program. They would often give me an exercise and then act surprised when I said I already did this one. They would then ask me to perform it. I would-and they would just casually be like oh yes, do this one instead. Nancy would ask for feedback and I would respond sharing if it was difficult or came naturally and then she would tell me I was thinking about things wrong and needed to stop. At one point I was considering changing program to one that was three hours closer Nancy was incredibly negative and just tore apart this other program with zero consideration as to what may be best for my family. It came across as unprofessional and lacked any feeling she had our best interest in mind. The final straw was when Nancy made my daughter change something about her appearance that had no impact on vision therapy. When confronted she denied everything, and implied my daughter was making it up. When I addressed the other issues she refused to take any accountability and doubled down that she's not dismissive and would never say those things. This office needs to do some serious work on what it means to be neurodivergent affirming because I know that is a large portion of their patients. A large culture shift needs to occur because they are just continuing to perpetuate the harmful and sometimes traumatic experiences that so many of us regularly experience. I often felt frustrated, dismissed and plainly disrespected and I should have ended care in that facility far sooner than I did. 0/10 recommend.
