Everything. There was just a really loud, kind of obnoxious lady there with grayish or light died hair that seemed so loud, rude, and quite aggressive to the other female and male, who were very helpful and sweet, that were working in the front. This made the experience for waiting for my exam and shopping for my glasses very comfortable. For this reason I rushed when picking out my frames so I really hope I got what I wanted and needed. I whish I had names to provide. Dr. was great, nice, and knowledgeable. Good selection of frames. 2 out of 3 people in the front were very caring and helpful.
Wanted to purchase a pair of glasses. Went to store at 1:45pm on a Saturday. Gates were closed with a sign saying "Be back at 2pm" I thought ok...they might be short staffed with only 1 employee that had to take a lunch break. No one showed up until 2:15 in which 4 employees came in at the same time. (They apparently never heard of shifts)They took their sweet time chatting amongst themselves paying no mind to the customers waiting behind the gate. (Which made 1 couple walk away) When someone finally opened the gate he asked "are you coming in"? Not "I apologize for the wait, or "welcome", how may I assist you. although I waited 30 minutes...I told him "I was going to, but after some thinking...no thank you", I decided to walk away and take my money to where I felt welcomed.
They say you get 100 day guarantee for if anything is wrong with your prescription. I just went back today for a third time because my prescription that the doctor wrote me wasn't working he made me feel very uncomfortable. He rushed me. He made me feel like I was not a valued customer. He didn't give me time to think about what I was trying to say all he did was have a negative attitude and he had a rude voice with everything he said to me and I will never go back again, and I don't want anyone going back to vision Works in West acres !
Worse place I have ever been for glasses. Had to return multiple times to try to get lenses corrected on multiple pairs of glasses. Perscription sunglass tint was blotchy, and the focal point was not correct. 2nd time made it worse. Lenses were not cut correct for frames, and focal point was still incorrect, causing fish bowl vision. Person onsite decided to try and fix it by bending the end peices and arm, which distorted the frames and had them angled off my face. 3rd time, instead of correcting the lenses, they just ground them down and bent my Ray Bans to fit the lenses. Paid for scratch coat, anti glare, etc. Never had a pair of glasses scratch that easy in my life. Regular glass lenses were also not cut to the correct size. Perscription was not correct 1st time around. After multiple times going back I gave up trying to get them corrected or get my money back. I lost about $800 using Vision Works.
Compare frames on sunglasses. Amber tint is their glases. Grey tint was done else where.
Tara was so patient with me changing my frames twice. Everyone here is super kind and just a peach to talk to. I've been going here since 2019 and absolutely recommend them to anyone.
The staff up front were very kind and courteous. They helped me understand the buying process, and we're very patient. The eye doctor was also quite good, and he explained a lot to me about the pictures of my eyes and what they meant. It really was a seamless and relaxed visit...I was pleasantly surprised!
Had called and asked for a trial pair of contacts. The lady on the phone said they will be set aside. Get there and told they do not have my prescription and someone with similar name and prescription and they would have to order a pair. Seriously. Was told if that's all have a good weekend. Then later told something completely different in person. Even though I've went to them for 2 years. Then lie like I'm asking for something bigger than just a trial pair of contacts. I ordered contacts and they will be a couple days but will be switching after this! Rude! And not at all helpful.
Straight BS from Visionworks, particularly this location on 03/27/24. We were in Fargo temporarily for work. Explained that to the employees. Firstly, service was bad and the heavy-set caucasian lady was rude, dismissive, and made fun of my wife's ears ! Blaming her ears for how the glasses were sitting. How about you do your job and manually form them just how they have been able to do at every other establishment ? Whatever, decided it wasn't worth anything but now it's affecting us.
Today, we came to Visionworks in our hometown in AZ, for my wife's annual exam. We were shocked to hear that she can't take another exam until January 2026. So I called VSP and they said that she had already billed her glasses and contacts last month in Pennsylvania??? Who the heck is hiring yall??
Last year, when we went to this Visionworks, we were surprised about the amount we had to pay since I had just gotten my glasses 08/21/23 in AZ. I got my glasses with every add-on, 1 full year of monthly contacts, and my wife just glasses with 6 months monthly and paid $100 more than me.
Anyways, it wasn't until we were walking out of the mall when I looked at the receipt and saw the primary was a Jose D when my Wife is under her own account. So then we turned back around and the same rude, heavy-set lady said that she fixed it but she never touched her computer and said the price would be the same. Never reprinted a receipt, nothing. Again, I explained how I paid $100 less than in AZ where the cost of living is way more expensive, and she dismissed us saying well different places have different pricing. Maybe on taxes but that much for all the add-ons I got? Okay.
Fast forward to today, we said whatever we'll pay out of pocket for a monthly contacts, enough to get us by until Visionworks can fix this mess because my Wife actively cannot see. Tell me why there is no record of my Wife's exam nor what we paid for that day ! So thanks to that dismissive, heavy-set caucasian lady that did not do her job correctly, even after I went back and gave her the opportunity to fix her mistake, that I caught !
So tomorrow when I call have our records and receipts and that of who you did bill my wife under originally, so I can report this unprofessional establishment with gross misconduct to VSP.
I wonder how many other people you have scammed because you don't do your job properly and verify the customer's information.
