As a traveller, the screw of my glasses was loosen. One of the staff Mr. J volunteered to help me fix it for free. I would like to express my gratitude here.

I had the kindest optometrist. He was so soft spoken and thorough with the examination. He showed me pictures of my eyes and explained the health of my eyes. I really felt he had my best interest, and he even fixed my glasses that I had taped together because I was missing a screw. Personally, I didn't find the rest of the store's service to be notable in either a good or bad way. But it seems that some of the reviewers are unhappy with the service and gave this location a low rating. However, I think it's worth noting that the optometrist was very good. To be honest, I've been avoiding the optometrist and getting contact lenses in Norway because I assumed it was super expensive, or at least more expensive than the U.S., especially since I don't have eye insurance (is that even a thing here? I don't know.). But I ran out of contact lenses, so I had to go in. And I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable examination cost. I actually think it was the lowest I've ever paid for a contact len examination out of pocket. In any case, I felt really positive about my experience, so I thought I'd share :) Thank you~

This is only a phone customer service review, when I went to the store I was met with excellent service, hence why I put it to 3 stars. I was calling to cancel my appointment and after being on the line for 14 minutes, someone replies "hello" once, and hangs up. I'm assuming they didn't hear me, but I would also assume you can give some time before hanging up ...

Got an expensive pair of reading glasses 3 years ago. It dropped on the floor and both temples snapped off at the same time. Synsam was not able to replace them. They have no sense of customer service and they are so not helpful and let their customers be happily stranded with a faulty product making no suggestions for any resolution of the issue. Apart from selling me a new pair of glasses for thousands of Krone/ hundreds of Euros. The Typical Highway Robbery.

Avoid it! Don't even try your luck. I experienced many mistakes by them.

These guys deliver a premium service for a premium price. They will of course attempt to sell their additional services, but are also known for referring you to low cost alternatives if possible. Recommended, but not for one-stop cheap contacts or throwaway glasses.

Awful customer service. Hard to believe they are still in business.

Helt forferdelig linser. Ja jeg hadde prove linser og kom tilbake for a skjekke om alt var greit og det var det og derfor skulle jeg bestille nye linser som jeg gjorde. Samme styrke skulle det vaere pa de nye linsene men etter 1,5 maned kom de endelig (skulle tatt 2-3 uker max) men virket som at til a med her hadde de ikke peiling fordi noen av de sa 2-5 dager! Hva i alle dager de ansatte har ikke kontroll pa det engang. Na i dag fikk jeg mine linser etter faren min var innom enormt mange ganger i lopet av maneden. Men etter 1 time sa merket jeg at det er noe feil de foles ikke riktige og foles som at jeg har vaerre syn enn jeg egentlig har. Helt ubrukelig!!!!! Linsene har ikke samme antall som de sa skulle holde for 30 dager jada de hadde bare dobla 15 + 15= 30. men skal jeg liksom bruke 1 linse om gangen og 15 dager pa venstre og 15 dager pa hoyre! HVA ER DETTE FOR NOE!!!??Ikke mulig a ringe butikken heller! Helt ubrukelig og er fryktelig sur! og til dere synsam: dere vager ikke a skrive samme melding tilbake som dere har gjort pa alle de andre anmeldelsene dere har fatt helt forferdelig dette hva er det dere holder pa med!
