Doctors and techs are very good. Scheduling and setting follow-up appointments is terrible. I had cataract surgery performed by them in August 2023 and the yearly follow-up appointment was set for early August 2024. In July 2024 they sent me a letter stating that my appointment was rescheduled for 1/28/2024. I knew there was a typo in the date so I called them to see when the actual appointment was. The receptionist stated that the appointment had been rescheduled for 1/28/2025 - almost another 6 months out. I told her that was not acceptable because I had been anticipating this appointment as my eyesight had deteriorated in the other eye. She said she was sorry but that was the earliest date they had available. However, I could try to see an Optometrist somewhere and perhaps get a referral. Then maybe they could get me in earlier. This tells me that they don't care about the patients they already have.

Doctor and tech were great. All went well...until checkout. We chose them because they said they accepted our health plan and they knew we were looking for glasses. We have Vision and Medical covered in full. Exam and glasses fully covered. We were told they billed the medical, so now WE HAVE TO PAY $60 EACH ($120) IF WE WANTED OUR PRESCRIPTIONS. We said no. We knew we'd need our prescriptions since they don't sell glasses there. In truth, they tried to bill medical, and they don't accept our vision. No medical conditions were found, so they are holding our prescriptions hostage so they can get paid by someone. None of this was told to us beforehand, just that they accept our insurance and not a single word to work it out was spoken. So deceitful and won't be back.

Excellent eye care. Drs. Dodrill and Ortman are both great doctors. Very professional office staff. Always working to provide the best patient care. I have been a patient here over 10 years and always feel welcome and well cared for by this team!

CONSTANTLY changing appointments. Plan on over a year or more to get in. God forbid missing an appointment. Receptionist is VERY cold and dismissive to clients. BEFORE WARNED! Dr. Ortman is wonderful. It's the practice that's terrible.
