Forest City Vision

We had a great experience with Forest City Vision. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their overall processing. My 10 year old had great success in the program, which ultimately translated into his everyday life and learning.

Very engaging experience for my son. Dr. Zach, Jessica & other therapists made my teenage son feel comfortable so he could do the work. I highly recommend this practice for any age person with visual issues such as focusing, reading pace, visual & physical coordination.

Forest City is incredible!! When my daughter entered high school she started to have complaints of eye strain and headaches because of the increase in work on line and work between the board and screen work. We saw our regular eye doctor and she recommended Forest City Eye. Jess and Dr Weinberg are a great duo and worked wonders. Nightly crying about homework began to lessen. Tension at and after school started to fade. Grades started to improve. I had no idea eye therapy could impact so many aspects of her life in such a positive way. We went from "I am not going to college" to "mom do you think we can set up tours, I think I want to go to college". I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for my daughter and her future. Thank you.

We have seen so many improvements in our son since being in vision therapy. His attitude towards reading amd school has greatly improved as has his confidence. He is less fatigued and rarely has headaches anymore. Thankyou Dr. W and staff

I was first referred to Forest City Vision by my eye doctor. Turns out, my eyes didn't work together. I was missing important details such as a true 3D experience, the ability to make each side of my body move independently (think tapping your head and rubbing your belly at the same time). I've been working with Dr. Weinberg and Jess for a few months now. They are amazing! I will admit, I was intrigued but skeptical. I haven't been as good as I could be at doing the homework (you know, life) but I have and do see the difference. 3D motion rides don't make me ill, illusions are becoming easier to see, my eyes don't shake as much as they used to, and well there are a lot less curb checks. I will say, it's very disappointing insurance does not pay for vision therapy. Dr. Weinberg is in network for me but these particular appointments are not covered. Dr. Weinberg does take CareCredit which makes it a little easier to afford these out of pocket costs. All in all, I know I'm in good hands and truly respect the process and work Dr. Weinberg and Jess do. They are both passionate and knowledgeable. They can explain the why's and how's about all things vision. It's very interesting and to be honest, after speaking with Jess, I drive home wondering if I've picked the wrong career. Do it. It's worth every penny!

We had an incredible experience with Forest City Vision. My child, Arianna, was struggling with convergence insufficiency, which made schoolwork difficult and frustrating. After just 9 sessions, the improvement has been remarkable. Not only has their reading and focus improved, but schoolwork is now noticeably easier and less stressful. My child is also more confident in school and her self-esteem has improved! The team was professional, supportive, and really took the time to understand our child's needs. We're so grateful for the difference this therapy has made -- highly recommend!

After seeing a different optometrist in August, I was struggling with my new eyeglass prescription. I felt like I was not thinking clearly while I wore them, and my eyes, while seeing clearer, were not working in tandem. It almost felt as if I was recovering from a concussion. I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Weinberg at Forest City Vision. He spent an hour checking my vision several different ways, making recommendations, and giving me a new prescription. While he felt that the new prescription would work for me, he also had a plan if it didn't. I had my glasses remade with the new prescription, and I'm pleased to say that the difference is night and day. I can read and see clearly while feeling like a normal human. I appreciate the extra time that Dr. Weinberg spent with me to get it right. Glasses and contacts can irritate the nervous system if they aren't right. They can cause confusion, headaches, eye strain, dizziness, and disorientation. If your glasses are irritating you, first make sure that they are matching your prescription. If they are, you may want to get a second opinion. I highly recommend Dr. Weinberg for either a first or second opinion. I will be returning to Dr. Weinberg next year for my checkup. He's taking eye health to the next level.

Super impressed (and super grateful) with how wonderful, kind, and patient Dr. W was with my six year old daughter. His calm and kind demeanor put her at ease. He was very knowledgeable and the exam was very thorough. He also explained things in a way that made sense. My little one walked out feeling very positive about the experience!
