Visionworks Beachwood Place

I got the best service and attention 3/7/26 at the Beachwood store. Even though they were extremely busy, they treated me like I had an appointment and like my time was important. They worked as a well oiled machine together and I saw every customer that came in before get the attention they needed. I felt valued. Thank you for helping me find my new face.

When they have staff, it's great. That's a load-bearing qualifier because they're not sufficiently staffed most of the time I've visited. I just needed to exchange my glasses after a week of headaches trying to adjust. The woman behind the counter tried to talk me out of it and then i waited half an hour before finally giving up as i saw no movement in the line of several ahead of me. Really disappointed in the experience here lately.

Today I visited this location to purchase my children a pair of glasses. Non prescription, just sunglasses or frames. The lady that worked this Sunday was purely rude. Her tone immediately gave she did not want to help me. After politely telling her that she was rude and the energy she was giving was definitely received, I went to LensCrafters. The ladies there were very pleasant and customer service was a 10. Not to mention the selection of frames surpassed what vision works had to offer. I get it, we all have our days. I don't think that was the vision works employee issue tho. After telling the ladies at LensCrafters what I had just experienced. The ladies said I wasn't the first person to come there saying that about the same employee ar vision works. It's sad because I've been a patients there for a while now. First time coming across that particular lady but also last time visiting that location due to how she treated me. Update: I returned to this same location today 10/27 because I needed a copy of my prescription. The service today was 10/10. I end up ordering contacts and a pair of glasses. The Rep I previously spoke about apologized for the misunderstanding and I'm appreciate that. She was actually very pleasant from the time I walked in until I left. As I said, sometimes we all have our days.

Yesterday, I experienced a slight delay for my eye examination appointment. I anticipated a potential rescheduling due to my tardiness and the absence of my physical insurance card, as I only had a digital image of it on my phone. However, I was promptly seen by the doctor and was able to select my new eyewear shortly thereafter, completing my visit efficiently.

My experience at Vision works in Beachwood mall was second to none..Michelle and her Supervisor Tara make a dynamic duo they were very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional this was appreciated and I will let everyone I know that this is the place to shop for their vision needs. Job well done.

Young lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable at insurance information and what would and would not be covered and what vision works policies as well. The ladies at the check in counter was pleasant and quick with check ins as well having the paperwork ready to fill out as well as knowledgeable due to me loosing my health insurance card and was able to look up my group number for me was extremely appreciative and the Doctor himself was extremely pleasant and thoroughly did my exam and helped me understand my vision needs. Every one that was staffed that day worked beautifully together ! More companies need this in their work environment! Great job with compliance training and being knowledgeable as a team.

The service was great and the technician MELODY was fantastic! I must admit I have not enjoyed getting glasses in the past 40 years but this was by far my best experience!

If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. I had a very disappointing experience with this shop. My daughter's glasses order was mishandled multiple times. We brought in my daughter's prescription and my daughter with previous glasses. We simply ordered a pair of glasses--something that should be a very straightforward process. When we went to pick them up the first time, the staff told us there was only one lens in the frame and the other side had no lens at all. They asked us to come back again. The second time, after they called us to say the glasses were ready, we went back--still no lens. On the third attempt, we asked them to deliver the glasses to our home. When they finally arrived, there were two lenses, but one of them was completely wrong. Instead of one bifocal lens and one regular lens, both sides were bifocals. This is unacceptable. They had the correct prescription, my daughter was already wearing glasses and the staff checked previous glasses, and they recorded everything. How can a shop make mistakes over and over again on a simple job? It's beyond unprofessional. Repeated errors like this raise concerns about quality control and attention to detail.
