My experience was similar to another persons on here. I had to deal with him for follow up appointments after lasik. I was there to verify (poor) vision stability to prepare for a touch up procedure that he had previously recommend. I had explained I had trouble reading text clearly such as street signs, and had blurred vision with ghosting. His response was "You just want perfect vision, I deal with blind people all day and you just want perfect vision." I explained that it was impacting my job and I was having to squint to see or cover my bad eye and his response was "you know most people use both eyes to see." He then said he wouldn't recommend a touch up procedure (after he was the one who recommended it weeks before) due to my eyes being dilated this time...but not last visit when he made the recommendation for a touch up. None of it made sense and he refused to answer questions. His comments and behavior were completely rude, unprofessional, and ridiculous for someone providing medical care. This was a shame because everyone else at the vision center was fantastic and helpful. I had to schedule another appointment with an actual surgeon to have questions answered and proceed with the touch up procedure. Dealing with him was actually worse than the poor vision results of the initial procedure or having to go back for a touch up. Stay away.

I had an appointment with Dr Augustine as a follow for my lasik and to see if I qualified for touch up or enhancement after 11 years. He didn't take time to understand the purpose of my vist, was very rude, arrogant and unprofessional. He ultimately walked out and said he would send another Dr in to see me as he didn't want to deal with me. The next DR was great, took time to answer my questions and concerns. I would not recommend him to anyone...ever.

I just want to thank you personally and professionally for the outstanding experience I had at Clear Choice Custom Vision Center. In the future I will highly recommend you and your staff to anyone that is interested in getting quality care and quality results!
