I had my first visit at the Cleveland Eye Clinic in Brecksville, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, Alex the assistant was friendly and professional, and Drs. Kirk and Jee were extremely thorough. They took the time to explain everything clearly and were very knowledgeable. I felt well cared for throughout the entire visit. I would definitely recommend the Cleveland Eye Clinic--if you need an eye exam, this is the place to go.

I was very disappointed with my DCR consultation with Dr. Rachel Davis. The interaction felt cold and uncaring, and the overall attitude came across as dismissive - bordering rude. While I appreciate honesty and directness, there was little empathy or effort to ensure I felt informed or supported as a patient. I was told that surgery may or may not help and that all other options had been exhausted and they could not provide any other actions or recommendations, and that surgery could be scheduled if I wanted -- but without meaningful discussion, reassurance, or guidance to help me make that decision. Dr. Davis made little effort to answer my questions thoughtfully or thoroughly- mainly expressing that she didn't know the answer because she was not sure how the procedure would impact me. After the appointment, when I expressed concerns to another staff member, it was insinuated that my perception of the interaction may have been influenced by the fact that the physician is a woman, and would not have been as impactful or perceived differently if it was a male physician doing the same thing. I found this explanation inappropriate and concerning. My discomfort had nothing to do with gender and everything to do with bedside manner and patient care. Given that this would involve a surgical procedure and a two-hour drive, I expected a higher level of compassion and communication. I left feeling upset, disappointed and uncomfortable and will be seeking a second opinion elsewhere. The front staff had also unprepared me for what to expect during the consultation, even when I had called ahead twice to make sure I was prepared if my eyes had to be numbed, probed, flushed or dilated. They said no, it was just a consult and I was caught off guard and overwhelmed when those occurred. The other staff interactions were positive - but the disconnect in preparing patient expectations and the treatment I received from Dr. Davis is unacceptable.

We were referred to Dr. Pierre by our pediatrician for our 6-year-old daughter, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The front office staff was so kind and helpful on the phone and just as friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Dr. Pierre was amazing--so patient, funny, and great with kids. He made my daughter feel comfortable and even had us laughing throughout the visit. The exam was very thorough, and he took the time to explain everything clearly. We had some concerns going in, and he completely put our minds at ease. He even checked my husband's and my eyes to confirm that what he noticed in our daughter was inherited--and he was right! I learned something new about my own eyes that I never knew before. We left feeling very relieved and grateful. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Pierre and his team--they truly go above and beyond!

Dr. Chester and his staff were professional, friendly and very informative. My appointment went smoothly. Dr. Chester explained everything very well. He gave me options to consider. I'm very pleased with Dr. Chester. I will be back for follow up.

Dr. Rachel Davis and the care team at Cleveland Eye Clinic are fantastic. They listen to your concerns and are genuinely interested in helping you get better. You don't feel like a number, they really make you feel respected and heard. Great experience all- around.

I find my experience with Cleveland Eye Clinic to be a plus in my life. The staff is most courteous and efficient. Dr. Chester is a true gem. My questions are answered very clearly, unlike another doctor I have known that said " i don't Intend to explain "Eyecare 101" to you. Eyesight is one of our greatest treasures. I am most grateful to have trust in my care at this clinic.

My wife and I went to the Cleveland Eye Clinic for a consultation with Dr Wiley for cataract surgery. He was very understanding and sympathetic of my wife's needs. Dr. Wiley and his staff made my wife feel comfortable and confident about getting her surgery. All the employees at the eye clinic were very cheerful, helpful and professional.
