Eye Surgery of Eastern Ohio

Genuinely, the worst doctor experience I've had. John Antalis showed no regard for my condition with my eye, was extremely rude, would not let me finish a sentence, and gave me no answers after telling me that he would "try his best" to figure out what was wrong. He also would not let my mom, who came to the appointment with me, answer questions about my medication because, verbatim, "I'm an adult that can answer my own questions". I've never had a doctor experience as negative as this one. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Do not recommend to absolutely anyone.

Retina Associates with Dr. Nothnagle and staff are by far the most efficient and caring team around! The fact that they pack up and come to Cambridge for us shows their compassion and dedication to the people of Southeastern Ohio.

I am patient of Dr. John Antalis, Eye Surgery of Eastern Ohio, who has been my opthamologist for over 20 years, and I hold in the highest of personal and professional regard. I fully credit him for the 20/20 vision I have today for three reasons: treating a retina issue when I was in my 40s; removing my cataracts and implanting corrective lenses when I was in my 50s; and, while in my 60s, the combination of discovering the onset of macular degeneration in my right eye and referring me to Dr. Arnold Nothnagel of Retina Associates of Cleveland. Yesterday marked the seventh injection that he has performed into my right eye, stabilizing the retina and preserving my sight, which remains 20/20. My first two injections were in his North Canton office; the third in Dover; and the remainder in Cambridge at Dr. Antalis' office, just a couple of miles from my home. Dr. Nothnagel's warm, patient and professional demeanor along with a caring staff has made what was initially an intimidating procedure a positive experience. The fact that he and his rather large staff "pack up and hit the road" for Cambridge one day a month speaks volumes of his commitment. My vision is a gift from God and preserved by Drs. Antalis and Nothnagel, for which I am forever grateful!

I've been a patient of Dr Antalis's for many years and I can't say enough about how he has helped me. As well, when I've needed immediate attention, the staff has got me right in. I highly recommend Dr John.

Dr. Antalis and his staff are amazing. Went today for my 2 year check up since my cataract surgery. I highly recommend.

With out even looking at my eyes he said nothing wrong with your eyes. Said you can go...no charge. So far I have had surgery & botox from another doctor. Still will need more surgery. I would not recommend anyone to him. NO ONE!!

The people that work there are friendly and the doctor in nice and he explains everything before he does it.

He did my cataracts surgery and lazered the secondary cataracts. Wonderful job!
