Dr seems ok, at least my wife likes him. General office experience sucks! Both times has to wait more than 40 minutes with no explanation. When the receptionist was asked his comment was "they will call you soon". After that 3 more people were called in front of us. Absolutely no concern for their patients.

Had an optometrist in Hilton Head write me a prescription for new glasses. Was told my eye pressure was high. When i got home I went to CEI and had them check it. All was OK BUT that was in January (1/4/24) of this year. Yesterday (6/24/24) I got a bill for $356. Note said "due to system issues we have experienced delays in mailing statements". Did they get hacked? My wife made an appointment with them and had to give a credit card number before they would make it.

CEI doctors have always been great in my experience over three decades, including eye surgery. Five stars for quality of care! However, CEI scheduling is usually a mess. Typically I have waited 1 to 2 hours after I arrived on time for appointments, not counting dilation time. My wait time was usually much shorter when seeing a specialist. It seems disrespectful, but I guess it's the price you pay for quality eye care.

The 2 doctors( Faulkner and one in blue ash) I've seen are great. But It always takes over an hour. And twice I've been and they didn't have the tear duct plugs I was scheduled in to get done. Also the receptionists talk badly about patients in full ear shot of the waiting room and aren't very friendly. Not very professional.

The emergency clinic would not allow me to make an appointment when I had a serious eye infection because I had been seen at urgent care a week prior. If you are seeking an urgent appointment, do not mention prior attempts to seek medical care.

I am so glad I insisted on this appointment. The scheduler did not want to schedule me to see Dr. Arar and kept telling me I just had dry eye and to use eye drops. I insisted on coming in and learned the membrane on both of my eyes is scarring and needs to be removed. I knew it was more than dry eye and am very glad I trusted my instincts.

The doctor and staff were wonderful. However, I was surprised and upset that you are now charging $45 for the doctor to write a prescription. This is a big rip off. This should be part of the cost of the office visit.
