Be ware of their claims office. My husband has been trying to get his annual eye exam from September 2024 paid for by our insurance since October 2024. CEI made mistakes on the billing codes which caused insurance to not pay. Many phone calls and threats of collections and still not resolved almost a year later

Receptionist lady picking up the phone was extremely curt. Why did I call Galbraith Rd. location only to be given 1,000 locations I don't want? Also, very shady that they took my personal information before telling me that only select doctors take my insurance and that they have only two days a month available? Get a new receptionist if you want your business to survive. I've had easier conversations at a funeral.

I'd been a patient of Dr. Klugo's here for almost ten years. I overlooked a couple of bad years where the billing dept billed me twice or a receptionist got snippy with some other patients because overall I was very happy with the level of care that I got from Dr. Klugo. This past Monday was supposed to be my annual check up with her and when I arrived for my appt I was told she'd left the practice in July and there were no doctors in that day. I was given a business card, told to call a number and that was it. When I reached someone I had to verify my phone number, street address, and email address to confirm my identity. I was then told someone attempted to call me in October to cancel my appointment but couldn't leave a voicemail. I'm unaware of any issues with my inbox being full, but even if I give them the benefit of the doubt, they have now already confirmed they have my correct street address and email address to have contacted me some other way. In the end they reassigned me to an optometrist instead of another ophthalmologist...I just don't feel like the level of care is there anymore. If things change I'd consider returning, but I'm headed elsewhere now.

I am blown away by my experiences with the Kenwood Cincinnati Eye Institute, and cannot recommend them more! Never have I had such a thorough exam, in depth conversation about my eyes, and great follow up. Every person interacted with was so genuinely kind, personable, and knowledgeable. I've seen ophthalmologists and optometrists most my life given my medical conditions, and no one has been as. informative! I currently see Dr. Mechas, who is fantastic.

This place gets a zero stars! New staff and one rude/unprofessional employee that looks rough! The rude employee looks like Granny from show The Beverly Hillsbillies on Me TV!! CEI location: go elsewhere!

I had an appointment today with Karen Klugo at 10:45. My morning got away and I called to let them know I was running late. So I get in my car and drove there. At 11: 04 I arrived and apologized for being late. The receptionist says "per the doctor we have a 15 minute rule". So you have to reschedule. What about patient care or the half hour to 45 minutes I have to wait for her. This is a eye exam not brain surgery. I don't think they even car if they loose a patient. Pathetic customer service!!

I have come here since Dr Klugo came to the practice, more than 10 or 12 years ago.. She is very knowledgeable, an exceptional physician, who is very interested in her patients. I feel like I have been in very good hands here. The receptionists are very welcoming and friendly as well as efficient. Mark, the optician, has been a rock. He is very good at what he does, and helps when I have any problem with my glasses. The prices are competitive for my very high range lenses, as well as frames. I always get a discount, because I am an in-house patient.

I have never left a review about anywhere but I was infuriated by the service here I felt it necessary. I wanted over 2 hours to be seen, once I was seen the doctors spent less than 5 minutes with me. Nothing was done to help my condition and I was told "you are young, just deal with it". A doctor should care about their patients and that is not the case here. If you are looking for someone who wants to genuinely help you get better and have a better way of life this is not the place to go. I would give this place a -500 out of 10 if I could.
