The staff at Clarkson on Wooster Pike is generally friendly and attentive to our needs. We have been going there since they opened and have been very satisfied. The only area that keeps me from rating them 5 stars is their reluctance to call when our lenses are ready, although they call persistently to get us in the door for check-ups and new lenses.

First time visiting this store as an eye care patient. The staff were friendly, warm and engaging. I felt very relaxed and every procedure was explained to me and any question I had was explained with confidence and detail.
Dr.Smiley has an amazing way of making patients feel comfortable and breaks down complex things in an easy to understand manner.
Checking out was easy and the staff patiently took their time to ensure my billing was correct and my insurance would work for what I needed. I felt like family.

This place is the worst eye care practice in Cincinnati. Very unfriendly impersonal staff that can't do anything right. I've been going here for years and ever since Mark K retired this store has gone downhill. I just received a call from collections for a $67 balance and I go in the store all the time. No notice in the mail and no one at the store informed me of any balance until it was in collections. They jusy lost my whole family as clients. The last time I went in for an exam they couldn't get my order correct. Put the wrong prescription in my glasses that I paid over $500 for and blamed me. I hope they get shut down. The staff is the worst.

I'm sure this office is great. Although I'm annoyed at the fact that they waited until the morning of my 9 am appointment to tell me they don't take my insurance. It says they do online but apparently only certain doctors take Medicaid but the "company as a whole doesn't." Would be nice if that was advertised too. The front receptionist didn't seem to have a single care in her body about it either and seemingly had an attitude when I asked questions trying to understand, so one star. I'd give zero if I could.
