I have been very pleased with Dr. Bell's care in how well he is handling the surgery of my eyes. He has scheduled me for additional appointments to in my recovery and in my needing to have laser procedures to remove scar tissue to further improve my vision. I would definitely recommend him and his professional and caring staff.
Always a good experience, and this appointment was even better as I waited less than 5 minutes. Amber, who did all the checking of my eyes before I saw Dr. Bell, was a delight. At 89, my eyes are good and I know I have an excellent doctor.
It was horrible and I was very disappointed/angry!!!! I waited 6 months for an appointment with Dr Jason Bell, took off work and showed up at my appointment to read a letter on the counter that Dr Bell is no longer doing eye prescriptions as of January 12th, 2026. I also have diabetes and glaucoma . No one called to inform me of this! Piss poor service ! I have been having trouble seeing and now I am going to need to find another provider and wait to see them! May I reiterate My appointment was scheduled 6 months ago!! I was a long time patient of Dr Howard Bell, I saw Jason until I was transferred to another doctor. So very upset ! There was no exception to be made since I scheduled 6 months ago!
I was able to get an appt the next day for an eye concern. All staff was efficient and friendly. Dr. Bell explained his examination and answered my questions completely.
The staff are always very pleasant. Dr Bell did an amazing job with my cataract surgery so every check up since my surgery has been excellent.
My experience going to the eye doctor is you have to wait but I was taken back in a very timely manor and managed to see the doctor just as quickly. Overall it was a good experience in a nice facility with great staff.
Dr. Bell is my older brother's doctor. He has been treating David for many years. He is very professional and customer-focused. David is a very satisfied patient.
I have the highest confidence in Dr. Jason Bell with my eye care. I trust him, which is of utmost importance with something as serious as eyesight. He listens well with any questions or concerns I have.

About Jason H. Bell, MD, PhD, FACS
Jason H. Bell, M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.S., was born and raised in Cincinnati, and attended Anderson High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 1996 from Denison University, graduating in three years time. With a strong interest in research, he earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 2001 from Wesleyan University in Connecticut while working to combat bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Following a short post-doctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Medical School studying the molecular genetics of retinal degenerative disease, he returned to Cincinnati and earned his M.D. in 2005 from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine.
