ON TUESDAY MARCH 3, 2026 I HAD AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. HANSON AND SHE MOVED EXPEDITIOUSLY TO GET INFO ON MY LABS THAT WERE TO BE IN HER OFFICE BACK TO HER STAFF JANUARY & FEBRUARY. DR. HANSON MADE A TWO MONTHS BUSINESS JOURNEY IN 30 MINUTES TRY. I AM SO PROUD OF HER!!

Updated for visit on 10/28/2025: Unfortunately, this time I was not impressed by the tech who screened me. I swear if she had said "Gotcha" one more time, I would have screamed. She made excuses for everything during the screening and never even introduced herself. I have no idea what her name was but when I go back if she comes out to do my screening exams, I am definitely going to request someone else. Dr. Hansen deserves better help than the tech who screened me. So Dr. Hansen as always will get 5 stars and the CEI is 5 stars but the tech, If I could give negative stars, I would. 7/15/2025: Tia was fantastic in triaging me with the preliminaries to get me ready for my visit with Dr. Hanson. Obviously Tia is a very intelligent and focused young lady. She has a warm chairside manner and explained everything thoroughly. Dr. Hanson is FANTASTIC and the best ever! I don't see her again until October and I am already looking forward to it! She is so thorough and includes the patient in the patient's care so the patient is allowed to choose or refuse (without any repercussions) elements of a treatment plan. I just love her!! I've been a Registered Nurse for over three decades so just know I've seen and worked with a lot of physicians and she is definitely one of the best! 4/15/2025 Dr. Hanson was so nice! She made me feel comfortable and she was extremely thorough. I highly recommend her. Now, if I could just find the patient portal they sent me a link to, which I did sign up for but now I can't find the portal!

Dr. Hanson is amazing. When I went to see her I couldn't see anything out of my right eye at all just severe blurred vision. My cataract was very large and needed to be removed. It was a larger and thicker than normal cataract surgery. My vision now is 20/15. The nurses and technicians at the eye Institute are amazing. I was well cared for from start to finish and everything ran on time I never had to wait. At the end of my surgery one of the surgical nurses handed me a thank you note for letting them care for me. I was amazed because that's never happened to me before at any medical center. Can't say enough positive things about the Cincinnati Eye Institute. I recommend them 1000% along with Dr. Hanson.

Very very hard to get in touch with her. I have some questions and simply can't get a reply. Been trying for over a month. I've called the main line and left messages, I've emailed her assistant Lindsey Pepper multiple times, and I've used the app to message her. My other Doctors reply on the app, but no luck here. I've never had an issue like this with a Doctor, but this is super aggravating.

Dr. Hanson was an answered prayer. She was calm, intelligent, and patient as I had many questions. I felt very comforted by her and the staff during our appointment. As my husband said after we left, "She learned how to be a doctor and care for her patients well at school." So true! Absolutely a blessed experience.

This was my 1st visit with Dr. Hanson and she was very calm, polite, and attentive. She listened and was very compassionate and concerning. She gave hope and alternatives. I'm looking forward to working with her on my treatment plan and progress for a better outcome.

Dr Hanson was amazing! She took the time to thoroughly test my vision, rule out my worst fears, answer all my questions, and provide a solution. Very thankful that I got to see her!

Dr. Hanson is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly compassionate and patient. She took the time to listen to all my concerns and provided clear, thorough explanations for every question I had. It's clear that Dr. Hanson genuinely cares about her patients' well-being.
