Dr. Saltarelli was extremely thorough and took the time to clearly explain every part of my exam, what he was seeing, and why it mattered. He answered all of my questions in detail without rushing and was very transparent about the plan of care and a realistic recovery timeline. His explanations were clear and easy to understand, which made a stressful situation much more manageable.
He was compassionate, down to earth, and approachable. He never made me feel rushed or dismissed for asking questions and addressed every concern with patience and respect. He took my situation seriously and explained things in a way that was reassuring and easy to follow.
Referrals were sent quickly, communication was timely, and the overall coordination of care was excellent. I felt informed, respected, and confident in the plan moving forward. I would highly recommend Dr. Saltarelli to anyone looking for thorough, thoughtful, and patient-centered eye care

I have had issues with "dry eye" since my LASIK procedure in 2019. I have seen a cornea specialist several times who told me there was nothing more he could do to assist. Dr. Seitz at Midwest saw me one time and did a more complex evaluation than anyone before. She determined the issue is nerve damage and came up with a treatment plan to help regenerate the nerve and address the "dry eye" that had been misdiagnosed for years. I am so excited and looking forward to my vision improving! She is thorough and knowledgeable and I am so thankful to have been referred to Midwest.

Dr Gooch had been a caring, skilled professional who has been available in an emergency situation, on a Sunday! His staff at the Dana office is quite competent and helpful.
However, the phone system to make an appointment is miserable. I waited over 50 minutes and no one ever answered. The prompt also said that I could be called back which never happened. There is no way to call the individual office directly. It needs a lot of attention!
