This review is for the Hyde Park location only. I made an appointment online and was told that my appointment was cancelled because I did not confirm that I was coming. What is strange is that I received a text from them the prior day that said they looked forward to seeing me..I saw nowhere warning me that the appointment would cancel if I didn't take the extra step to confirm. I made the appointment because I wanted it and I was on time for it. Completely rediculous establishment that just cancels patients appointments with no warning. I needed new contacts badly. I will be choosing a new doctor. What's worse is the snotty receptionist here telling me to have a nice day condescendingly instead of sorry for your inconvenience or let's rescedule you or see if we can fit you in..nothing. I had been coming here for 5 years because it was right by my office but I wouldn't give this establishment anymore business.

My service at 'myeyeDr.' was provided by Gerald Williams, and the team of professionals there, they treated me exceptionally well, and I intend to return. My optometry care is usually managed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. During the government shutdown recently, I needed my eyeglasses adjusted. The VA wouldn't get me in. The spectacles were literally falling off my face. Regardless, I stopped in my neighborhood "myeyeDr." located at Hyde Park Plaza. I explained my need and situation and they sat me immediately. I offered to pay, repeatedly, but they declined. I recommend this team of optometrists and vision care professionals without hesitation. I'm looking forward to 'seeing' them soon, pun intended. I really want to express my gratitude to Gerald Williams, he verified my eyeglasses were adjusted perfectly. Thank you Gerald.

During my optometrist appointment the doctor advised me my prescription reduced back to a previous one indicating my vision had improved. I knew prior to my appointment I wanted to switch from contacts to glasses and brought in two previous pairs, requesting only lenses during my appointment. When asked what my prescription was in my existing lenses the optometrist advised me that was something the tech could assist me with, and the technician refused to tell me what prescription was in my existing lenses. This was important information as it was indicated I went back to a previous prescription, the glasses I came in with were two years old and that would help me make the decision as to purchase lenses do to the high cost post insurance. I ended up purchasing lenses for one pair of the frames, upon pickup of the new lenses I couldn't tell the difference due to how mild my prescription is, it's likely I paid for the same prescription and was stuck up for $200.

Always super kind and helpful! I was able to pop in for a quick fix after a lens fell out of my frames with no trouble. Appreciate their knowledge and assistance!

Amazing services and team. Staff and doctor super friendly, especially Caitlin and Christophoer. Very helpful and patient in searching for yhe best frames. Personable attitudes as well!

Gerald Williams is probably the best LDO that has ever helped me I had a problem with my glasses rubbing on my nose and he took the time to fix it Great personality I would definitely tell people how good he is.

Took my husbands glasses in because one arm came off... Gerald kindly fixed them and tightened up mine as well!! Greeted with kindness from the moment I walked in

Hoping they will fix the issue but not happy at the moment (I will update my rating and let you guys know based on their response). Went in 2 weeks ago for an exam and was told I would need my first pair of glasses. Spent a good amount of time doing an eye exam, getting retinas scanned, talking to the sales associate about which glasses & lenses would be best for what I'm looking for. When I went to pick up the glasses today and they very noticeably hurt my eyes to wear.
