Had a good experience today with Dr. Jennifer Michael and Keith. Super friendly and helpful. Keith was awesome with helping me select glasses and telling me what frames my insurance would cover. Definitely haven't had a bad experience here so far and enjoy the experience every time!
I love the doctors, however the General Manager might need a lesson in patient services. I work in a doctors office as well, so I speak from experience. I paid over $1,100 for two pairs of glasses. I picked them up on a Tuesday when they were open until 7. I get off work at 5, and I work in Milford. As someone who works in a doctors office, I cannot always leave exactly at 5. I wore a pair of my new glasses today--Thursday of the same week--and noticed a small scratch on my glasses. No big deal, I thought it could be buffed out. I brought them in today because this location has later hours on Thursdays. I happened to be seen by the General Manager. He took the glasses back and inspected them. I was thinking it was a quick buff. He came out and basically scolded me about my glasses! He claims there are "huge scratches"--which I didn't see--and asked if I dropped them. I expained I wore them today for the first time, to which he responded, verbatim "Well, I want to say I know what happened." He then went on how he saw these glasses himself before I took them on Tuesday and there was nothing wrong then. I asked if maybe the glasses case might have dinged them a bit and he curtly said "No." He then grudgingly said he would fix them because I had paid for a plan. Then he curtly said he would call me when they were ready and dismissed me. Again, *I* paid *your* company over $1,100 for my glasses. The total bill before insurance was over $4000. And this is the service I can expect? No. So, I am calling my insurance company to let them know what happened. By the way, I paid extra for scratch resistence. Now I question if this done and will report this to Fepblue. I feel the extra cost I paid for was not done. I am probably scammed for the pair I paid out of pocket for, however I will encourage my insurance to recoop their loss for work not completed. Your company can discuss your practice policies with the Federal Employee Program. I will be submitting a report to the Ohio Attorney General as well as I do not trust the extras I paid for were added to my glasses. I am hoping to pick up my glasses without harassment when they are ready. I will encourage our patients to never do business with this location as I question their business and ethics. Again, the doctors are fine, however the General Manager absolutely needs reprimanded. I have already left a message with your corporate office. I am waiting to hear back. I do not trust this location and encourage others to avoid.
I came in for an appointment yesterday. I came in to update my prescription for my contacts and glasses. We did my eye exam and got my prescription updated. At the end of my appointment Dr. Marian Mekhaiel casually mentioned that I could possibly have retinal detachment. Which is a serious medical emergency that when untreated leads to permanent blindness. She said she couldn't be sure since I didn't have my pupils dilated. I went to get a second opinion, got my pupils dilated and was told in fact did not have a retinal detachment.
Highly unprofessional to tell someone they could go blind and not try and do anything about it. I was not urged to do a dilation by Dr. Marian to ensure everything was okay. Did not leave with peace of mind. Will not be returning. Thanks for health scare.
Hello, this is Gabriella. I loved the services at MyeyeDr. Really nice people, I enjoyed Keith and Spencer's company. Everyone is pretty friendly, helpful, and cool.
Keith was very helpful in helping me choose frames for my glasses and eagerly worked to maximize my savings with my insurance. The office is always efficient and timely in their service to customers and patients.
I recently visited MyEyeDr. Beechmont location, and I just wanted to say that it was the best visit I've had. I have been wearing glasses for 20+ years. And just at this visit I was notified that I am eligible to wear contacts which I was ecstatic about! The doctor was amazing and Keith (the gentleman that helped me with all the financial, frames and contacts part) he broke down all the different financial pricing of each set of frames I wanted/needed. He also specifically helped me with picking frames and explain the contact process with me, he did an amazing job, got on a professional personal level, and just contacted to make my experience better and make me feel as comfortable as possible! All around great experience
MYEYEDR has professional, caring, and intelligent staff, as well as a very clean facility. I actually look forward to this doctor appointment. They have taken great care of me and my family over the years. I like the way they photograph your eyes and watch for changes over time. The front desk is always pleasant. The exam assistants are thorough in explaining the various exams. They are very meticulous and caring. Keith is outstanding with eye wear recommendations, costs, and service. I have been wearing glasses for years and MYEYEDR is my choice for quality care.
