Philip R. Jutte, Optometrist

Dr. Jutte is wonderful. Thorough and caring eye exam, that rivalled the exams I get from my ophthalmologist for thoroughness. He really worked to try to get me to be able to wear contacts again, but I just have too much congestion and dry eye to make it work. The glasses are great. Scheduling is great. Glasses fitting is great. The outside cat shows the compassion of the place. There are a few other optometrist's name on the sign, but I have never seen them. I am going back to get glasses that are the right distance for using a music stand to play cello, and hope they might help with computer distance as well. As you get older, if you have specific tasks that are at a specific distance, it often pays to get glasses suited to what you are doing. The eyes just lose their ability to adapt to different distances, and sometimes just "Reading" and "Distance" are not sufficient. Also, for a relatively small place, they have a fairly wide selection of frames.

Always polite and considerate. Thorough. Arrived at my appointment a few minutes late and was kind enough to flex me back in. Chester, the neighborhood cat the office looked after, has been adopted!

Dr. Jutte is excellent; he is thorough, kind, and has seen me through complicated changes in my vision in the last 10 years. I drive from Anderson to Finneytown b/c I appreciate Dr. Jutte and the rest of their staff so much.

Wasted our time by not confirming appointments or if insurance was covered. Then basically blamed us for there shortcomings. Rude staff! One star is too much.
