I ordered frames and lenses. They said they would call when they came in, but they never called. I tried to call them, but nobody ever answers the phone there because they're under staffed. I ended up getting through finally, and of course they had been there for days. I then had the unfortunate experience of having to use my warranty. Again, nobody called me when my replacement lenses came in. I finally got through, went to get my new lenses, but the lady said the left one was scratched, that they'd have to order another one. I got home and saw the right lens was also scratched. I had to go back again and have them order a right lens. They said it would take a week. It's been ten days, but nobody has called, and I can't get anyone to answer the phone. What a nightmare!

I've gone to Walmart Eye Center at the Ferguson location since I was 18 years old. So over 10 years. Dr. Ann has been the same woman I've seen in those 10 years and she's been NOTHING SHORT of amazing.
I recently took my oldest daughter there for her first ever eye exam. I had schedule an appointment for myself at the same time, knowing I would be getting a check up and picking new frames. Again, she made my daughter feel so comfortable and was sure to let her know cool things about her vision.
Fast forward to my turn, I just felt the need to tell Dr. Ann how thankful I am/was for her. We don't have many good things, let alone PEOPLE, especially of businesses we have to be apart of and that it's a pleasure to be one of her patients and now my children also. So thankful she's stuck by us faithfully over here on the Westside. Her response was enough to tug at the heart strings. With a tear in her eye she said "Wow, that was the nicest and kindest thing I've been told today and I really needed to hear that."
I meant every single word of my thank you.
Thank you to the staff, they're also wonderful and have always been to us.

I'm so sad to post this review because i liked this doctor. She's the best optometrist I've met and I always had a great experience until this past summer. I ordered contacts and was told they would be in possibly the next day but by the end of the week. 4 months later I have not received my contacts and have not been able to get in contact with anyone at the office. The hours they have posted in the store do not match the hours they have posted on the internet. One day I tried going in to the office and arrived before they were supposed to close but nobody was there. There is no way to leave a voicemail message or even find out what their hours truly are. Here's a suggestion, maybe include them on the phone recording so people don't waste their time showing up to a closed store and a sign that tells them you should still be open, and while you're at it update Google, the Walmart website, and your physical sign at the store to reflect the real hours you are open.

I have have been going here over 10 years for glasses and contacts. Dr. Sara (Werden) is the best eye doctor I've ever had and she helped me find affordable contacts, after I went to an eye doctor under the eye insurance I had that wanted me to purchase only a specific brand of expensive contacts that hurt my eyes. Our family won't even bother with eye insurance or other eye centers anymore because we will always go to Dr.Sara as long as she is there. Also, the staff is always friendly to us when we go there.

The receptionist that answered the phone was rude, unhelpful and hung up in my ear. I understand feeling overwhelmed, but I will never understand purposely being rude to potential patients. I had a completely different experience at the West Chester location

I scheduled an eye appointment for the first time last week with Walmart vision center. Upon arriving to my appointment I called to inform the staff that I was running 15minutes behind. Once I arrived, I filled out paperwork, directly after that I went to the back for an eye exam, about ten minutes afterwards I was finished. I was directed by the staff to walk up front to pick out a pair of glasses. Needless to say this was by far the fastest service that I've ever experienced at a vision center.
