To be honest, I didn't have a standard for eye care before coming here, but I most certainly do now. They were very kind to me. Dr. Kammer was incredibly personable and attentive. He asked me what my experience was at my past eye doctor (Pearle Vision) and I shared how they wouldn't give me my prescription without me buying my contacts and glasses through them and was pressured into buying their brand of contacts instead of my regular brand, and their brand is considerably less durable than my previous and current brands.
Dr. Kammer apologized on their behalf, told me that my prescription is my property, and that he was going to do everything he could to give me the best experience possible, and he most definitely did!
I felt very safe and validated there. The whole staff was very kind to me, and made me feel valued. I didn't have a standard for eye care before, but I definitely have it now and will be going back next year!

My first time going to Clarkson and it was such a delightful and pleasant experience!! From getting my records transferred over to the eye exam. The staff was great!! They made me feel like I've been coming there for years. Dr. Kammer was awesome and made the whole visit a time to remember. He's fun but professional! I'm glad I decided to go to Clarkson. Very disappointed. Ordered two pairs of glasses with prescription I supplied from previous optometrist. They didn't get the progressive lenses right, so I had to return them. The replacement pair is better but still not great. Did not call when glasses were ready. At least three of the staff (front desk and optical technicians) were rude and impatient. I would not go back. Did not use services of optometrist there.
