Cleveland Clinic I Building - Cole Eye Institute

Parking aside, the wonderful (and nice) doctors at Cole came in on a holiday and saved my eyesight. Thanks to Cole, my eyesight is great. Highly recommend. Don't even bother with the private retina specialists.

Charging $14 for valet parking when people are visually impaired is ridiculous. I can't justify walking 15 to 20 minutes to my car in a parking deck when my daughter can't see after her appointment due to her procedures. Valet works best for us. The cost went from $10-$14 with no handicap or a senior discount now. That's outrageous. There needs to be a dedicated self parking lot beside the building where the valet parking is. We also sometimes have to wait 20 minutes for our car, while my daughter is sitting in pain.

I had PRK corrective eye surgery here. Dr. Jason Marcellus treated me and my husband like family from the moment we met. He clearly explained everything that would happen, and helped me make an informed decision. Follow up care, with him, has been excellent. He has even expressed concern for my husbands vision and has offered guidance in that regard. I am sad I won't need to see him anymore. But my eye sight is amazing, and I am so happy I had this done.

I appreciate all that the Cleveland Clinic does, but the parking situation really is nightmarish for anyone who does not visit the campus regularly. I don't want $14 valet. Nor can most of the parking attendants park a manual transmission vehicle like the one I drive anyway. Expect to spend at least 10 minutes getting oriented and parked in one of the garages several blocks away, and then 10-15 minutes to walk back to this building. With all the nearby road construction and either small and/or unlit signage, for early morning appointments this is a taxing and stressful process. Disappointing.

Dr is unprofessional and rude. One of the most disrespectful offices. The doctors and team members are rude and inconsiderate, especially of the elderly. Do not go there. Avoid this place. The wait every time is about two hours and they do not communicate at all.

Dept Chair is wonderful. $14 for valley with no senior/disabled discount - robbery. Seriously. People are DISABLED and visually impaired but you charge $14 for vallet? Bet the tips went down for the parking attendants. Who can afford an appointment parking spot. I have an idea, share parking options for caregivers that drive up and drop off.... So disappointed in the removal of the senior/disabled discount.

The parking is hard to find they have a large sign that says parking and arrow to the parking lot after you pull in says valet parking only only fines if parked there on a SMALL sign they need to update the sign in front that says parking and put valet parking only like all the other clinics I hate going down town in the first place the traffic is crazy leave over 45 mins earlier then travel time cause on the app it don't say what floor or area to go to and the traffic is so bad cause this is by the cancer center I hate having to pay for parking I mean you are already paying enough to see the doctors seriously We were not informed of the appointment taking 3-4 hours due to the lack of communication we had to reschedule another doctors appointment which is just as important. Thanks to them not communicating. When you go back to the room they do the eye exam ask you questions then take you to waiting room to take you back to another room to do distance testing and then dilate your eye. Come on don't you have the machine where you don't have the dilate the eye this isn't 1900. Then you go back to the waiting room to wait more. Not the way it should work they should go for all their testing and then go to waiting room with drops in their eye to be dilated. Wasting people time is not good customer service and so much more. Let alone living far away I don't think we will be back. The wait time to get in to see the doctor was over a year and half. To be treated this way is just not right.
