Do not recommend. I had to take my
Child out of school , because i asked first the earliest available appointment after 3 pm several times and was only offered 11am. I pick my child up at 10.30, we arrive at 10.50
And we check in and im told the appointment was cancelled by them, because they
Wanted the insurance info that i had already provided when I made the appointment. They said they called "several times"... and left messages. I told them there were no messages left in my voice mail. Then the woman said well maybe they couldn't leave a message because my vm was full or not
set up. ( neither of which are/were true) i
Was not happy- but mysteriously, upon being reminded that I did, in fact, have vision insurance, they found an opening at the exact appointment time we had originally. (11 am) after an exam by a tech, we sat in the waiting room almost an hour, before seeing the actual Dr, while people who came in after us saw the dr first. While sitting in the waiting room... i observed and heard the receptionist calling patients, hanging up without leaving a message, and then conferring with the other P. and cancelling appointments!!!!! It has now been 1.5 hours since our arrival-my teen was just now called back to confer with the dr. Just dont it... find anywhere else
On July 21st, 2025 I had an appointment for 12:30pm set at Dr. Jodi L. Rowson & Associates, Inc., I arrived at 12pm. After completing intake paperwork I was called back at 12:40pm to do my vision field test. Then I was sent back to the waiting room to be seen by the doctor. When I arrived there was one patient before. When Dr. Pham / Phan came out and collected the patient prior to me, she saw me waiting. In the midst of waiting, two women arrived. The patient before me comes out and Dr. Pham / Phan from behind a wall whispers and calls the duo to the exam room, it is now past 1pm. When she came out to gather some paperwork I asked her why'd she take a patient before in spite of my appointment. She states that the mother of the duo, had a 12pm appointment and her eyes were dialed. They were maybe 50 minutes late. However the PROFESSIONAL and COURTESY thing to do is speak with the person who made a well in advance appointment, who was there on time waiting and explain the situation as opposed to keeping them waiting with no clue of what is going on. My time is just as important as anyone else's. I walked out. Terrible time management. If I could give zero stars I would.
Someone in this office needs to learn some time management skills. I wasn't seen for my noon appointment until 2:00 pm. I would not recommend coming here if you have even an inkling of a schedule to keep.
I had a terrible experience with this provider's office. I received a voicemail 2 days before my appointment asking for additional insurance information. By the time I called back after work the next day, I was informed that they had canceled my appointment and given the slot to someone else. They said that they had been trying to get a hold of me for weeks and left me multiple voicemails. This was only half true. Looking through my call history, I had received calls from their number. HOWEVER, the only voicemail they left was the one I called back about 2 days before my appointment. 99% of the calls I receive are sales calls, so if I don't get a voicemail I assume I just missed another sales call. To top it all off, the next open appointment they could schedule me for was a month away. What a poor customer experience. If you book an appointment here, make sure you memorize their phone number so that you don't miss their calls and lose your appointment like I did.
I spent $150 on an appointment and did not receive my contacts prescription.
I was told it would be another $25 dollars for a follow up appointment. Although I was late for my follow up I did pay good money for a service I did not receive.
So I'm out $150 dollars and have to go make another appointment elsewhere . I feel like I've been robbed.
I have gone to their offices for over 20 years at other locations. Went into this location today for the first time with no appointment because of trouble in one eye that became problematic very quickly. They got me in with little waiting, examined the eye and prescribed medication for it. Saved me a trip to emergency room. Staff was very good to me.
The receptionist was so rude to my wife and I. She lied about a couple of things. first that she needed the SSN to look up the coverage, where only the group number and ID was required. She also lied about the insurance not covering the retinal examination and imaging. I checked the insurance and it explicitly says it's covered. She lied again and said it's what I'm told to do. She kept on talking over me when I was talking and was very, very rude and unprofessional. I Will be following with a law suit about lying and scamming people.
My wife came to vision works for contacts. She paid $25. It's been over two months and after several calls and voicemails no response They don't even tell you she's an independent contractor and not a part of Vision Works lol Don't come here she's a borderline scammer
