Melissa and Emily are so kind, professional and talented!!! They answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns, and handled my insurance! I was able to watch them paint my prosthetic, which matched perfectly!!! Afterwards, they reiterated I could reach out at anytime and as many times as needed to make any adjustments or changes. I would highly recommend them!!!

They are absolutely amazing. I watched them work together to hand paint my prosthetic eye. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions. It's a 4 hour process. You go to your appointment and walk out with your prosthetic eye. I highly recommend them. Update. I recently went back to have my eye resized. Because I still had swelling when I first got the eye. The eye was perfect but didn't fit right when the swelling went down. I received the best care. My eye now fits and feels normal. I have to say they gave me back my smile.

I had a Great experience with Melissa and her assistant.I had my old prosthetic redone after 30 yrs and it looks so natural, I Love it! She was so polite and gentle and explained everything to me in detail the entire process from start to finish was 4 hours. The results are phenomenal! After a recent scuffle with ocular melanoma I was in search of a prosthetic which landed me at Frederick Custom Eyez during the visit both Melissa and her intern had extreme trouble just taking their apparatus in and out of my eye causing painful agitation. The MOST UNSETTLING aspect of the visit was every time the intern asked Melissa for help she would stop the task she was doing ( typing on her laptop, picking articles she dropped off the office floor... etc.) and come to assist her intern NEVER once washing hands or placing gloves on hands. This is unnerving practice to someone dealing with cancer as well as prior medical issues resulting in a chronic immunodeficiency. Very discouraging visit. Now I am back to square one looking for a prosthetic I highly recommend Darrel Hardin in Willoughby, much better experience and has been in the industry for many many years. He takes care of clients from frederick custom eyes when the owner travels back and forth to other locations out of state and may not be able to fit you in. He is the man !

Lobby smelled of cigarettes and pee, front desk was extremely rude and workers don't wash hands before touching eyes. No common practices used, honestly save yourself money and go to Walmart they at least have common cleanliness practices.

I had a prosthetic scleral shell made last October. I am very satisfied with it, and very happy with my appearance. You get very personalized care.

ABSOLUTELY the best. I'd give their work and professionalism a 10 if I could. I've gone here for 16 years. In 2010 I lost my eye to Melanoma. That's when we first met. My new eye was beautiful. I now live in SC and make the trip to Cleveland OH because Melissa is that good. If you're considering Frederick Custom Prosthetics in Cleveland OH I'd absolutely go. On my last visit I met her assistant Emily and give her 10 stars too.
