Let me start by saying if I could give 0 I would. This place lacks any professionalism clerically or knowledge when it comes to specific eye wear to meet a individuals specific needs. The women who work in this office carry themselves with an attitude like you are bothering them when any thing is inquired of services. I called 3 times prior to making an appointment for my child so I can make sure they could accommodate her need for a special lens. It took me 3 times to even get the appointment because they required a prescription. After getting said prescription 2 more calls to make an appointment, because the morning of the 2nd call her computer was still booting up. As an Adminstrative manager for the last 15 plus years I would have asked for contact to return the call. No she told me to call back. Finally 3rd call make the appointment, come in 10 minutes prior and still wait an hour to be called back. Get into the room and he looks at the prescription and ask what do I need from him. I explained she had a prior appointment that was deemed she needed no prescription, we needed non prescription lenses with a special tent. He looks me dead in the face and ask what I need from him. Literally this place is a joke. I expressed my frustration as yet again for the 3rd time explaining this he doesn't even know what the lenses are. The said "Dr." Gets upset because I called him and his staff out for the lack of knowledge. Save your self the aggravation and time and steer clear. As I was leaving his lovely staff wanted to yell and berate me because I hit a nerve. Some people are not meant to work in customer service on any level or past a certain age.

Dr. Freson is Amazing. I have a different insurance plan that he doesn't currently accept... which is why he is no longer my doctor ... if I could I would still be a patient of his. His office staff is so professional and have always been kind to me.. I have referred several people to him and they became his patient. Dr. Freson in my opinion is the best optometrist there is.... I wish him and the staff the best,,,, Wish they accepted Blue Cross but its not what they do right now

Absolutely do not recommend. I already had made the decision not to return after an issue with receiving the wrong contacts last year, but recently became aware of a condition that may be the cause of my chronic migraines. I called Dr. Freson to see if he had ever tested me for this condition during my previous annual appointments with him, and he had not, only because I did not have one of the many symptoms associated (despite having others, and notifying him every visit about the migraines). He said he was familiar with the condition and could test for it, and I was hesitant, but was told by the receptionist they could get me in the next day (today) at 2pm. Because of my excitement for potentially finally having answers and the timeliness of the offered appointment, I took it. I blocked an hour and a half to be away from work and arrived at the scheduled time and waited until 2:30pm, when I asked if they knew how much later the doctor might be. The receptionist responded that she didn't know as they were only 'squeezing' me in, which is not at all what I had been told on the phone. If I had been told I could come at 2 to wait and see, I would have declined as my work schedule unfortunately doesn't allow for me to spend all afternoon in the reception area just hoping for an appointment. After 45 minutes I ended up leaving. If you enjoy being gaslit by receptionists and having symptoms of larger issues ignored, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would recommend looking elsewhere. UPDATE: Went to a new eye Dr. on Thursday who confirmed the suspected issue. The prescription that Dr. Freson had given me has likely been making my headaches worse. Again, do not recommend.

Dr. Freson was so great and thorough. The receptionist and the other woman who work there are SO RUDE. It wasn't just a bad day either, I've been in a few different times trying to get contacts and both females are completely miserable, my first time there, there was no greeting or conversation and I immediately felt uncomfortable. Judging by the other reviews it sounds like this is just how they are, really unhelpful and just mean really. I always call and just ask for Dr. Freson to call me back.

The doctor is really nice but it has been a horrible experience to get contacts. My first pair were trials and on back order, but when they finally came in, the prescription was less then my normal prescription. The doctor order another brand which was on back order assuming that was the issue , again I couldn't see well. I told the doctor that my prescription was off and that I am -3.75 not -3.25 and -3.50. They order another trial set which is again on back order. It is going on 3 months and I can't see well. I have to pay for another exam from another doctor to get my correct prescription. He's nice but how in the world did he get my prescription wrong?

I came here for a routine eye exam and to order contacts. My appointment was at 8:00am, and the receptionists didn't get in until 8:15am with absolutely no apology or recognition of their absence. They were rude and immediately made me feel uncomfortable. The office is CLUTTERED with stuff all over the floor and the equipment used was extremely dated, again, making me feel uncomfortable and unassured of the quality of care I was receiving. I have to say, Dr. Freson was at least nice. After my exam, I received contacts to try. After about a week, I called to order the contacts. The receptionist asked ME for MY OWN prescription. I was extremely confused, and once AGAIN I was put off and unassured that I was investing in quality care. The receptionist never asked me if I was receiving a 6 month order or a 1 year order of contacts, so I had no idea what I was expecting. It took 8 WEEKS to receive my contacts after calling numerous times to ask for an update on the status of my order, and every time I was met with a comment about them being on "back order." I understand there are items that are out of their control, but there was no action taken to resolve the issue. I literally need contacts to see. When I received my contacts, the prescription was wrong. I called, and was, once again, met with rudeness, which was the last straw for me. I then had to go back into the office to pick up a physical copy of my prescription to order contacts elsewhere. Don't waste your time, money, or patience with this practice. It is extremely unfortunate that this practice is so poorly managed in every way shape and form. Literally, I was met with no quality of care.

Dr Feson is old school. He will handle every aspect of your new glasses from the exam to frame selection and even bi -focal measurements. He will even remember everything about you when you return. He does not rush you thru like a number. The lab that my insurance made me use to make the glasses made a mistake and he took care of making it right. You will not get the fastest service here, but if you treat him with respect, you will receive respect.

I waited a month and a half for my appointment, after reading positive Yelp reviews about Frason. I arrived approximately 15 minutes early. At the desk, I was treated offhandedly by the one receptionist with missing lower teeth. When I questioned the lengthy privacy paper, both receptionists seemed put out and bothered. I understand the need for certain information but in reading the privacy disclaimer (yes I read it) it mentions law enforcement possibly being privy to your medical information, I was like whoa! I am an RN and versed in HIPPA as well. I simply needed an eye exam and most likely new glasses, not a passport! I am a self-pay/CASH client. After about 3 minutes of considering their rudeness, and that I had decided I would not return after this appointment, I decided not to tolerate AND pay for such treatment. I asked for my paperwork, stated I was leaving due to their rudeness; actually thanked them - out of habit, and left. I never got to see (pun?) nor meet Frason in person. How unfortunate.
