Such a positive experience today. They were a bit short staffed which i expected with the upcoming storm but I was out within an hour! Dr Lander took her time to explain things to me to help me understand and if I had any questions she was great at answering them! And everyone on her staff is super kind and super helpful. I wasn't really sure which frames would look good but her staff really make sure you leave feeling satisfied. Thank you Dr Lander and team for a very positive and helpful experience! You guys rock!!

Dr. Lander is great but it's been two months and many calls regarding my son's contacts that I paid for on November 15, 2025. Supposedly, they are now in and ready to be picked up tomorrow. Luckily, he had extras and glasses while he waiting 8 weeks to get them. I hear this happens a lot there. This hurts Dr. Lander's business. My new eye doctor had mine shipped to my home the same week I ordered them.

This establishment at minimum is unprofessional, unaccountable and dysfunctional from a personal perspective. However from a professional perspective, it is certainly not following standardized Ohio vision laws and regulations. My fiance started to come here after his previous Dr. retired who was absolutely fabulous. His experience here has been okay but not very good at all. As a provider myself, upon seeing his frustrations I referred him to a reputable eyecare provider. He requested his records from Dr. Giselle Lander in September of last year 2025', after not receiving the records, we called back again and was told "Dr lander was going through a pile of requests and they would be sent out to him as soon as she finished going through them." Again we never received them. His new provider reached out to this facility again in October 2025' to assist him in getting his records they too still have not received them nor has he as of January 2026'. I am very much aware that she only has a limited amount of days to release his requested records per regulations. Thankfully his new eyecare provider is awesome and he is very happy he switched. I certainly would not recommend this office or provider to anyone and I encouraged my fiance to file a rule violation with the vision professional board and submit a complaint with the FTC, as of course we documented and kept copies of all requests and responses.

Amazing experience.... Wow can you say above and beyond I probably had the worst case of broken glasses they have seen all year if not ever lol but the staff was so friendly and understanding they were able to get me a new set of frames that were super budget friendly I'm so appreciative of the staff and they didn't take long at all no price gouging no trying to upsell I'm truly grateful for their service.Fast, friendly, understanding, and problem solving what more could you ask. The whole family will be switching to this practice. Thank you so much again.

Dr. Lander is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and thorough. She's been nothing but wonderful. Her team is great too! Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I never write reviews, but Dr. Lander and her staff are just exceptional! Very experienced, personable and they take their time with you to cover any and every concern. Dr. Lander personally even explained my vision benefits to me so that I was taking advantage of my vision insurance in the most optimal way possible. Highly recommend!!

I have been going to Hillcrest Family Vision for many years. I love Dr. Lander and the entire staff! Dr. Lander is extremely knowledgeable, patient and extremely thorough. Dr. Lander has advanced equipment to ensure a complete and through exam. Jackie is amazing at understanding and investigating insurance issues and Denise is very patient when helping you to find new frames. I feel extremely lucky to have such a wonder eye team!

Overall, a great experience. Everyone I came into contact with was very nice, as well as knowledgeable. The wait for the Doctor was a little long, but well worth it and completely justified. Dr. Lander treats you like a person and doesn't make you feel rushed. She makes sure you don't leave with any questions or concerns. My friend tagged along to my appointment and, when we were finished, decided to schedule her own appointment - that was a true testament to the treatment and care she witnessed!
