My husband and I have been going to Dr. Fagert for several years and appreciate how thorough he is with his examinations! Dr. Fagert expects you to be 100% satisfied with your contacts or glasses. He will work with you until you're happy. In the past I had an emergency after hours on a weekend. A wood chip flew in my eye and he met at the office within a few hours and removed the chip. He truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Fagert is not just a great optometrist he is one the most amazing men I have ever met. When I was driving down the street one day I started to have extreme vision issues in one of my eyes. I thought for sure I was going blind in it. I was terrified. I called him and he didn't say let me check my schedule, or I'm sorry I'm not open right now. No he said when can you be at my office? I told him a time and he said I will meet you there. He took a look and realized that I may have a retinal tear. He didn't say here's a few numbers you can call to try to get into a surgeon, he didn't give me a referral to someone he called them himself personally and convinced them to see me immediately that same day. He truly saved my vision that day because I did in fact I have a retinal tear that needed immediate surgery!!! The surgeon said that if I wouldn't have had such quick treatment I would have lost a vision and that I permanently. Dr Fagert is one the good ones. A man who goes above and beyond for his patients. A man who is never too busy who is never off duty if you truly need him. I have been seeing him for several years now and he has always been consistently great about working with financially and making sure that I always had contacts even if I couldn't afford them right that minute. He's just a true man of God who actually walks the walk. That is so very rare in this day and age. I won't go anywhere else for my eye care. I read the negative reviews and two of them are not even patients of his. They are probably friends and elected by the ONE PERSON who had a bad experience to try and damage his business. (We all know how crazy some people can be) He may have been having a bad day with his wife, I've personally never seen that myself but it happens. To them I say I'm so glad you live a perfect life but I'm guessing this person has never been married.

I tried to give him the benifit of the doubt but I've had a migraine since I've gotten my glasses. I believe my prescription is to high. It's like looking through a microscope but it's also blurry. I honestly don't even want to bother going back to get them fixed I'll just go elsewhere.

I've been wearing glasses for 63 years and this doctor was the absolute worst I've ever been to. He scratched my eye taking my contact out. My glasses were not the correct prescription. He refused to write a RX for eye drops I've been on for 3 years due to Sjogrens. He is very odd and unprofessional. UPDATE: the doctor's comment below is incorrect. I go by my middle name, Elizabeth. Janice is my first name. He would know that if he looked at his records.

Doctor Fagert diagnosed my eyes. Presented my options for treating the issue and provided scleral lens. As well he continued to check with me and update the treatment as needed. You won't be disappointed with your choice to use him for your eye care.

Dr Fagert is a great eye doctor. He always looks for the best options for your eyes. Always takes the time needed to be sure you are happy with your glasses or contacts. I have the sceral lenses now. I Love them ! I can see very good with them and don't even know they are there when wearing them. I Highly recommend doctor Fagert. He is a great eye doctor

Long story short, save yourself and go elsewhere. Saw him a few years ago and wasted a lot of time and money. My current eye Dr resisted records, they weren't getting sent so I called him and asked him to send them. I told him my name, but he apparently was ignoring what I was saying because he though I was the office staff and went on to say how terrible of a patient I was. Saying that I was difficult, a doctor hopper, and that I didn't pay my bill- all of which were false. My insurance had changed which is why I had been to a few offices. I never would have gone to him but he told my husband he could help my eye issue, so it thought I'd give him a try. I paid my bill (on time) but was a bit upset because he was doing procedures not covered by my insurance, leaving me with a large payment. He must not have thought I was terrible at the time, because he called me multiple times trying to get me to come back in. I politely told him that I didn't want to pursue any further treatment at that time. I eventually had to block the number. Someone else left a review that said deceptive- hits the nail on the head. Please, just go elsewhere.

He is optometrist that makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable. And he absolutely knows what he's doing. And he don't hurry you that's what I most like about him he absolutely takes his time. My husband and I both have been going to him. And one thing about him is he don't guess if something doesn't look great he'll send you someone else.
