I have a long story to share!! My previous eye Dr stopped taking my insurance so I got online and called many places to see who would take my insurance (no I don't call the number on the back of the card cause that don't usually work) so I found a place and silly me since I called so many I thought it was a place in Austintown they said it was next to coaches so I go to that eye Dr next to coaches and they didn't have me as a patient so I called that number back and here they were in East Liverpool but the receptionist was so wonderful and told me about the sister location in Austintown and I got lucky they had a cancellation so I was able to take it, it was my mistake but she helped me so my day wasn't wasted and I appreciate her so much for that!!! Thank you so much. I wish I had her name but it was on February 18th

This office is full of incompetence! Initial call to get glasses (with prescription in hand) they try to give full exam, then blame us for wasting Dtr.'s time, then tried to give us 2 prs when supposed to be one, the pd $10 to ship (in hopes of getting them faster, instead they mail to their own zip code and now need to wait an additional week to get glasses! I wouldn't be surprised if the glasses are somehow wrong too!! I wouldn't advise anyone to use this place for anything!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EYE DOCTOR! Went to Detwiler Eyecare, to get glasses. The atmosphere is so welcoming, from them answering the phone for a question, to picking out frames, Eye Doctor coming out chating with a patient, very informative on prices for added things for your glasses, a layaway plan, in all my life of going to eye doctors in California and Ohio, I've never experienced such welcoming courteous atmosphere. Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs too. I did not feel like a number nor did I feel rushed! So I switched to start going here

I've never been to this eye Dr just trying to reach them you'll jump hoops for days!! Don't bother leaving a message cause they'll Never call you back!! Dr Wilson and his staff are so much better in every way possible!!!!

Top Notch From Dr. Detwiler to all the staff! Great Care and help with all aspects of eye care! Great for the whole family, been a patient for over 15yrs.

Great experience here. They seem very thorough and did some test other doctors haven't done before. Staff was pleasant. Will be going here in the future

Ok so I was WAY OVER DUE for an eye exam...Dr Detwiler...having always been our family eye Dr was my GO TO.To my surprise I got his son....who was AMAZING!Very kind friendly and calming.The staff is top notch.
