Meade Eye Care of Fremont

It's always stressful switching providers when your current one retires. The staff at Meade made the whole transition seamless. Convenient appointments, explained my vision benefits, and helped me pick out new frames. Dr. Meade is friendly and informative, and I cannot say enough positive things about the women he has at the "front of house"

Dr. Meade and his staff are very good at what they do. I have been going here for years and have always had a pleasant experience. Aside from the examinations, the options between contacts and all types of glasses is endless. I myself have purchased regular glasses, prescription sunglasses, and prescription safety glasses. Once ordered, they have a quick turnaround, and a high level of quality. Plus, they offer free refills on lens cleaning solution.

Dr.Meade and his staff are all very warm and welcoming. I love coming here as I not only receive great eye care but also leave feeling like I was the VIP for the time I spent there. Dr. Meade is genuinely interested in how you are doing. I get to talk about my eyes and the most interesting thing that I have done. I highly recommend this office for all of your eye care needs.

I had a great experience at Dr. Meade's office. He and his staff made me feel comfortable and made my visit enjoyable. Dr. Meade impressed me with his knowledge and was extremely helpful with explaining everything to me. He has some really cool equipment that he uses to take high quality pictures of your eye and goes over the photos in detail with you - all for no extra charge!.

Called the Fremont office to inquire about a new patient appointment and found receptionist to be somewhat rude and abrupt with her answers to my questions. She actually recommended me to take my business somewhere else which I would have, except that I'm very familiar with Dr Meade's exceptional care for his patients and professionalism from previous collaborations which is why I sought his services.Too bad his receptionist may be keeping clients away with her demeaning attitude. Maybe she was just having a bad day but she just made it a bad experience for me as a possible patient.

Dr. Meade is a great optometrist. When he checked my eyes, he said he wasn't sure if the readings could be trusted, due to high blood sugar. He suggested I wait till it comes down, then he'll check them again at no extra charge, just to make sure the readings are accurate. That's what I call taking care of the customer.

Dr is very nice, however I've called 4 times within the past few days to have my contact prescription sent out, and they still haven't sent it. Absolutely ridiculous.

Always ready to help with any problems and also helps you find the pair of glasses that you like.
