I have been going to Ackerson Vanderhorst Eddleblute Eyecare Center for years. It's a great place to receive eye care from. The office staff are always friendly, attentive, and never pushy. The office is kept updated and is always tidy and the equipment they use is modern and well maintained. Dr. Vanderhorst, my doctor, is fantastic! She treats me like I am her only patient every visit. She has crafted my eye care so that I can use contacts with my astigmatism and see great both at a distance and up close. I am over 60 and I don't even need or use reading glasses thanks to her care. I trust her completely. What more could you ask for!

Always an amazing place to visit. From the moment you walk in the door you are treated like you are the only patient in the practice. The Doctors are very patient, knowledgeable and take their time with you. Lastly, the Opticians do an amazing job helping you choose frames, lenses, etc. and working with your insurance and the glasses vendors, both of which can be a challenge for all offices. They communicate the process and are simply the best practice I have used in my time. I've been with them now for many years. Thanks to all of the staff...you are wonderful!

Dr Ackerson has been her eye doctor for many years and she was so happy to see him today. My wife and I have been going to Ackerson Vanderhorst Eddleblute Eyecare Center for over 6 years. The staff is friendly and attentive. We have visited several of the doctors. All of the doctors are great. Dr Eddleblute is my primary doctor and she is very caring and takes the time to review what your needs are. She explains what is going on in clear language.
One visit in particular is when I got something in my eye that scratched the lens. They saw me that same day (worked me into the schedule). The treatment worked and my eye healed up just fine.

Booked an appointment to have my eyes examined. I was greeted then waited for my appointment to start, which was no longer than 3 minutes! The staff was very efficient and caring also personable:). I was very impressed. The office was clean, bright and had a nice selection of frames too. I was invited back to come look at the frames anytime. I got home and made an appointment to go have my old glasses adjusted and will recommend them to my friends and family.
