Getting cataracts removed isn't the most pleasant thing to do, but the rewards of having great vision without glasses and not having to look through dirty-worn lenses. Whites are white and not faded yellow. I am very happy with Dr. Lohman and his staff. I recommend going through the quick procedure for great vision. The process goes very smoothly, and they answer all your questions thoroughly (the staff and the doctor). No question is dumb to ask. Be informed to make it go easy. Think positive!

25 years ago Dr. Lohman preformed a corneal transplant and lens implant on me in both eyes. It was that day that I gained accountable eyesight, and a lifelong friend and trusted doctor! Since then, there has been no problems, and needless to say if I had to do it all over again I would still choose Dr. Lohman of the Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons! Best in Ohio!!!

Dr. Lohman is a very talented surgeon. I had DSEK surgery and cataract surgery in both eyes. Dr. Lohman was very attentive and the outcome was amazing. I have nearly 20/20 vision in both eyes. I had no discomfort and a very short recovery time. If I had it to do over, I would choose Dr. Lohman again in a heartbeat!

To begin, they changed my surgery time and didn't tell me. When they did the first eye, it hurt and has left a red ring of broken blood vessels in the white of my eye. The appointment after the surgery, I felt like it was rushed and they were uncaring. Ran out of the steroid drops that I was supposed to have been putting in my eyes, so I put in for a refill. 5 days have now passed and still no refill...hope those aren't important. They got my money and now they don't care. I would suggest you find somewhere else to get this done. On a positive note, I can see but not as well as I could with my glasses. I am not disappointed with that aspect, just the care you get afterwards.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! This Guy isn't a Top 100 Doc for no reason!!! I did Intralase Lasic surgery and was at a party that night! I have perfect vision and wake up thinking I slept in my contacts! Dr. Lohman is the only person I would "see" for anything relating to the eye from a vision test to the most in depth surgery!

I don't want to be unfair writing this review. Its something I've thought about for a long time. This was before healthcare, couple years ago. My first visit I had to wait 2 hours + past my appointment time. understand and respect they want to be careful when doing tests and get things correct HOWEVER, I was paying cash. It was not easy for me to do. But the thing that really bothered me was that they made us drive ALL the way out there, I had no appointment, the staff made a mistake. I asked them for a gas card, and we did eventually get it. I just honestly, don't trust the staff. None specifically, I don't really know. I just know, I'm scared. I think Dr. Lohman is a good man. I liked his caution. I hope this reaches someone and I am sorry for canceling recently, and not contacting you instead of leaving a review. I have very VERY little medical knowledge. That is just how I feel and I wanted it out in the open. All I wanted when I was a kid to not have big giant glasses... I really feel whoever worked on my eyes shortly after my birth messed it up but have no way of ever knowing or justifying it. I just want better vision. I'm feeling it... but this last portion, not so relavent to the review.

You want to see better, be it via surgery, glasses or contacts, you can't go wrong with Dr. Lohman. Can't count how many people I've referred to him.

Very disappointing, had to wait several hours on a scheduled visit. This has been a regular occurrence.
