Dr. Brown was amazing. He saw me for a red and swollen eye that suffered with for 3 days. They got me on within a few hours and it was quick and painless.

In my 78 years of life I've never had an experience that was without a doubt....beyond my belief. I selected Brown Family Optical just because I saw their sign on Lexington Avenue in Mansfield. I can truthfully say that I have never had such an AMAZING EXPERIENCE in my life. The owners and staff go far beyond over and above when they serve their customers. When you purchase eyewear from them, you can expect service that you wouldn't ever expect. What a pleasant surprise from them when they exceeded my wildest expectations. As I am on a fixed income, I have to carefully consider my every expense. Today, I had some difficulty with my eyewear and I was greeted by the owner of the business, who, in my opinion, was the most generous and helpful person I have ever known. I highly recommend Brown Family Optical to anyone looking for the finest quality and a business that backs their product and services without a pause. I can assure you that you can look far and wide, but you will NEVER find any business that will, not only meet, but exceed your expectations in all areas of quality and integrity and overwhelming service.

Dr. Brown is absolutely professional and nice. My eye was affected by a foreign body. I went to the emergency center of Mount Carmel St. Ann's one day before, but David Painter insisted that there was not any foreign body and only gave me a few eye drops. I was suffered a whole night and another morning. I drove to Brown Family Eye care, and Dr. Brown found and took out the foreign body quickly without any charge. He is an extremely nice person with his enriched experience. I strongly recommend him

Dr. Brown is extremely compassionate, competent, and thorough. After about a week with pain in my right eye, feeling like there was a toothpick stuck under my eyelid, thinking that whatever is in there is going to come out on its own, I called Dr. Brownand got in the same day! Knowing that in any medical professional office, you have patient flow and need to stay on time. I'm extremely grateful that he was able to work me through his busy day. So, if you're looking for a great optometrist with no further.

The minute you walk into the office, you feel like family. Very friendly with beautiful smiles. Dr. Jacob was very professional, kind, and helpful. The ladies help you pick out the glasses to try on and make it fun and fast. I ordered sunglasses that are very Stylish also glasses that compliment my facial structure. I would highly recommend getting an appointment in this office.

Got glasses from here over a year ago and a few months ago the lenses started to (peel?) and they had gotten all scratched up and made it hard for me to see out of them. At a recent appointment of mine for new glasses, I had asked for contacts aswell and while doing the contact fitting, the geriatric told me that I shouldn't be trying to put in contacts with long nails and told me to come back tomorrow after cutting my nails to try again. Lady at the front desk advised that I shouldn't cut my nails and actually didn't have to. Went back, didn't even let me do a fitting even after I explained how I almost had it the day prior. Asked if I wanted to come back another day and of course I said no. Obviously nails grow back but I will not cut my nails for something as unnecessary as that when I know it's possible to do with nails.

Before it was Dr. Brown, it was Dr. Brenner and I have been going here since it was Dr. Brenner. Brown is good at what he does and the ladies who work the desk and glasses selection are friendly as well. My wife has glasses and where she went before wanted to charge her over $100! I told her to come here because it would be me paying the cost anyway and I knew the crew at Dr. Brown would know what they are doing! My insurance covers a lot so I knew it wouldn't be much for her to get glasses! Only paid $23 because she got transition lenses and got a frame that wasn't basic; otherwise it would have cost $0 LOL the wife said she had a more personal experience than her previous doctor as well. Highly recommend Dr. Brown!

First time guy here. Saw Dr. Brown and fast efficient eye exam and I really liked having the experienced Doctor see me. My case is not really a challenge to him, however nice to have an 'old pro' give me guidance on what to do and who to see for me. Highly recommended.
